Title/ The Risen Jesus
Text/ Matthew 28:1-20
According to the prophecy (Matthew 16:21, 17:23, 20:19, 26:32), Jesus overcame the dire circumstances of death on the cross and became the living hope of all believers by resurrecting Himself. He is the Son of God and the Messiah. You have confirmed that
1, As prophesied, Jesus was resurrected. verse 6
(Numbers 23:19) “God is not a human being, he is not ignorant, nor is he the Son of Man, so he has no regrets. How can he not do what he said or do what he said?”
1) The whole universe was created according to his words.
(Genesis 1:3) “God said, Let there be light, and there was light.”
2) He became incarnate according to the Word. (Isaiah 7:14) “Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear evil, and shall call her name Immanuel.”
3) The Lord will come again according to the word. (Acts 1:11) “He said, ‘Men of Galilee, why are you standing and looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
He is preparing to come soon to all who say Amen- in the Word.
(Rev 22:20) “He who testifies of these things says, ‘Truly, I am coming soon.’ Amen, come, Lord Jesus.”
2, He first went to Galilee in search of the Gentiles who were in darkness. verse 7
(Matthew 4:15-16) “Galilee of the Gentiles, the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and to those who sat in the land and shadow of death a light has shined.”
After the Lord's Supper, he went to Galilee as he had said.
(Matthew 26:32) “After I am raised, I will go before you into Galilee.”
Galilee is the field of life for the disciples, the place where they were called, the Lord's ministry commander, and the land of blessing where he met the disciples after the resurrection and ascended to heaven on the forty days later (Acts 1:11) .
“A child has been born to us... which will glorify the Gentiles of Galilee” (Isaiah 9:1-7).
Anyang, where we meet the Lord and live, is no longer the land of alienated and despised Gentiles.
3, We must also go to Galilee. Verses 10, 16
Jesus came and said to them, Verse 18
1) To restore the lost mission
(John 21:3) “Simon Peter said, I am going fishing.”
The Lord said that He would rise again, but if we do not believe in His resurrection, we will go back to the past.
2) Make disciples of all nations
(Matthew 28:19-20) “Go and make disciples of all nations, and “the women left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy, and ran to make known to the disciples,” verse 8
Jesus worked hard to evangelize Galilee.
(Mark 1:14-15, 38-39) Those who believe in the resurrection of the Lord preach the risen Lord to all nations, and it is the faith of the resurrection and keeping everything they commanded.
