Joseph Recognized
Genesis 39:1-6
In Genesis 38, we briefly heard the story of Judah and Tamar.
This is a message that tells what is the tragedy of those who have left God and those who have left the community of faith.
The story of Joseph begins again. Joseph is sold to Egypt because of the hatred of his brothers.
Joseph was the most loved by his father among the 12 sons. he is a dreamer
How could there be such a tragedy that Joseph, who grew up in his father's house and was loved like a prince, suddenly became a slave?
Sudden changes in the environment and status are a shock to the person concerned. However, it is a message to inform that the people of God, the people with whom God is with them, do not fall into such tragedies or changes in status or circumstances, but become stronger and have more faith.
Look at verse 1.
Joseph, who is unjustly in the worst situation, has no one to help him in such a situation.
His future is dark. What will happen, what fate awaits?
Perhaps it is the situation with people who suffered a disaster due to the earthquake and tsunami in the northeastern part of Japan on March 11, 2011.
It's a completely unpredictable situation. It will be dark like a situation where the electricity went out while eating.
In general, given this situation, why does this happen? , and what sins did Joseph commit so much that this situation is given? that is. The answer to this problem does not lie with Joseph.
It is with God. These things are not unique to Joseph. It could be us too.
But in the case of Joseph in Genesis, God does not give an answer.
Of course, this is God's providence and plan. But now he does not give any answers to Joseph.
Dear saints,
We see those around us who are so kind and who truly believe in Jesus struggling in difficult circumstances.
Why do you have an unexpected death? Why does God often do this when a person who has worked so hard suddenly suffers a disaster? asks the question.
There is the providence of God in it. When we believe that God's hand is there, we can overcome that difficult adversity. And one secret message is that it must be Potiphar's house.
There were a lot of Egyptians, are they being sold to that house? that is. We are here in the unseen of God
We see providence and economy. All providence and predestination exist only in Jesus Christ.
The answer of the past is only to meet Jesus Christ. to meet Jesus and be saved.
So far, there are successes, failures, and frustrations.
So, what is the meaning of our life in the future? It's for Esu.
To meet Jesus, I have my past, and for Jesus, I believe that there is my future. It is a life of faith.
