Leadership of lowering the title

First, the leadership of humility is an attitude of reflecting on the motives hidden within you (verses 1-4).
Read verse 3 again. What is the opposite of working in competition and vanity here? It's humility, it's valuing others better than me. Will I finally make it through my thoughts? It is a question of whether to respect the opinion of others. A person who introspects himself is one who realizes what kind of rivalry and vanity is hiding in my zeal and interest now. In my favorite M. Scott Peck's People of Lies, he said, 'Evil hates introspection the most'. Rising leadership, boss leadership, when I say I hate whoever opposes the most. Whether you oppose it outright or gently oppose it, it is unacceptable. What is the biggest problem between the couple? Obviously I'm right, but when the other person doesn't approve, I wish someone would come and raise my hand. When that happens, we don't have the heart to respect the other person's words within us. I'm right, I'm right, but why does he say I'm wrong?
Even when we work in the church, we can have different opinions. People who do not introspect at all have a hard time every time. Why the hell does he say I'm wrong? What do you hate most about introspection? that's evil When problems arise between workers in the church, most of them are not very spiritual, but mostly emotional and trivial problems. Why didn't you come to the meeting except me? what do you know me I'm the one who served this church for 10 years! We were supposed to meet on this day, but who changed it to another day? These are the problems In the church, there is always a problem with the hard working members of the church.
But what the Apostle Paul is teaching today is that the most essential thing we need to do is not only zeal for the work, but also our attitude toward doing it. The world doesn't really care what motives do it. You always see the results and achievements of your work. But, surprisingly, God doesn't care that much about performance. God sees the attitude of the workers very much. Look at David, whom God most recognized in Old Testament history. When he was young, when he sent Samuel to make him king over Israel, he proclaimed, 'People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart!'
Guys, I'm not saying we don't need to be zealous when we work. I love to work with passion in whatever I do. If you go to Ssuna, there is hot water and cold water. The hot water temperature is around 40 degrees. Cold water about 15 degrees. However, when you go into the water to take a bath, if the temperature is lukewarm, people will come out. God said in the book of Revelation that He really hated the Laodiceans who were neither hot nor cold. You don't need passion. However, if you do not realize that your passion is excessive and that the engine of competitive spirit is running in your passion, it is not the leadership of lowliness, but the hard work that reveals you.
But, what is surprising, when we are working with special interest and zeal, when we quietly look at our inner motives, there is a desire for my name to be revealed in that enthusiasm.
See verse 4. What is the attitude Paul is most wary of here? Don't just take care of yourself, the interest I have, because this is important! Don't jump in looking back and forth like that, take care of other people's work! Respect the other person's interest, the other's argument, and why that person says it's important, and have an eye to deal with the issue delicately and sensitively. The leadership of humility ignores no one. It comes from an attitude that considers others better than yourself.
Second, the leadership of humility is to fight and win against my pride that is trying to be elevated.( 5-12)
Learn the attitude of Christ Jesus, which in other words means that the humiliation of Jesus is that we should seriously watch and learn and live that attitude. What is the key to Jesus' humility? This is verse 6. Do you know the Trinity? The three Fathers, Sons, and Holy Spirits are eternally equal in power, authority, and position, and there is no difference at all. Jesus is equal to Heavenly Father. It is not that Jesus is under God, and that the Holy Spirit exists under Jesus.
However, in verse 6, Jesus is clearly on the same level as God, but he did not claim his proper and natural position. He took the form of God. This expression is a bit weak. It is originally called God and the body. This refers to an intrinsic characteristic. There was no difference between God the Father and Jesus the Son, meaning that the essence is the same. But that God and the person Jesus emptied Himself, regarded Himself as nothing, and volunteered to be treated like an errand. The key to such humiliation is that he came as a human.
I think our Jesus has no pride. Pride is the fallen nature of man. The attitude to exalt me, the Lord doesn't have that. What do you know and treat me like that? What we do is most important, and our Lord is very willing to humble ourselves. How low are you in self-esteem? Verse 6, He is equal to God, but he gives up on it. Verse 7, He gave up on God and was born in the likeness of a human being. It also enters the Bethlehem stables, horse mangers and mangers. The horse manger does not fit any of our babies. Verse 8, he humbles himself more. In the end, people are arrested. You are insulted. You hit the cheek too. You are selling He was executed as a prisoner with robbers on the cross, bleeding all over his body. This is the humility of our Lord.
But what are the benefits of this humiliation? What happens to the Lord who came to this earth with this lowly attitude after that? If you look at verses 9-12, the fruits that the Lord bought only when he gave up all his self-esteem and humbled himself will come out. Our God does not leave Jesus in the lowest place. Read verse 9 together. You have highly exalted our Lord. That's it. God exalts Him and gives His name the most outstanding. Heaven, earth, and everything under the earth will bow their knees before the name of Jesus. Gentlemen, this is the leadership of humility.
I told you two things today. When doing God's work, it is necessary to reflect on and practice what is the motive behind me. Another is to learn the humble attitude of our Lord every day. If I practice the leadership of humility, am I the only one who loses in the end? You might be concerned. But God promises. What does God do to our Lord, who is most humble? In verse 9, God highly exalts him. Makes the community truly respect him. Over the next week, let's practice this humble leadership in the church at home, at work, and in the church. God will help us.
