Let it become a fruit-bearing branch (John 15:1-8)
To say that we are blessed does not mean that we have chosen to believe in Jesus, but that we have been chosen by God to bear fruit. The problem is that we only have leaves and no fruit. Are you living a fruitful life? Are there fruits of character, fruits of service, and fruits of evangelism? The vine is not an ornamental tree planted because it looks good, it is not a wood tree for making furniture, and it is not a medicinal tree used to cure diseases. It's just a tree to get fruit. A vine branch that does not bear fruit has no meaning in existence. As branches, we must bear fruit. May God be glorified by bearing much fruit.
