Let's become one / Philippians 2:1-5
May is the month of family. How grateful and happy it is to see the members of our faith gathering in one place to praise God and listen to the word of the Lord. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ; Today, we would like to share grace with you under the title [Let's Become One].
Last Sunday, we witnessed the word under the title of [We are one family], and as a family, the members from Yangsu-ri Retreat Center participated and had seminars and sports competitions. Everyone was busy cheering and during the match, I saw something amazing. It was that the parish that united and united won the prize. Today we believe that we should become one family.
一. Let our hearts be united (Philippians 2:2, John 13:2, Acts 5:3, Jude 1:19, Romans 6:5, Acts 13:22)
Who has united with God? Acts 13:22 says, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, who will do all my will.” Our church prays that there will be many saints after God's heart like David. That's right. We must become one with the heart of faith. If you do not have the heart of faith, you will become Ananias and Sapphira.
二. Let our loving hearts become one. (Philippians 2:2, 1 John 4:8, John 3:16, Romans 8:35; 26)
God is love, Jesus is love, and the Holy Spirit is love. Romans 8:26 says, "In the same way the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words." We pray that we become believers who are truly united by the love of God, not love that takes advantage of others.
three. Let's be of one mind (Philippians 2:2; verses John 6:38-40, Daniel 1:8) Philippians 2:2 says, "Be of one accord and of one mind." The meaning must be one. The will must be the will of God. Our Jesus also wanted to do God's will. In John 6:38-39, “I came down from heaven not to do my will, but to do the will of him who sent me. Inira" he said. The will of the Father of God says, "My Father's will is that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day" (40). Really, all of us believers want to live according to God's will.
Let's praise together. "Do your will, my lord. I give to you my whole body and my whole soul. Guide me through the ups and downs of this world, and govern me, do as you will... Live or die as you will." Amen.
I bless all the saints who live according to the will of the Lord. Meaning is thought, heart, plan, determination, and determination. Let's say I've decided where I want to go. Then, no matter what others say, you go. Daniel decided not to eat the sacrifices offered to idols.
Daniel 1:8 says, "Daniel made up his mind that he would not defile himself with the king's delicacies and with the wine he drank." That's right. We must also become one with God. If you decide to do God's will, you can do it even if a knife comes into your throat. Let's praise together.
"I did the Lord's will, I decided to live the Lord's will, I decided to live the Lord's will, I won't turn back I won't turn back while singing hymns and praying and giving thanks" Amen. I pray that you will live according to the will of the Lord.
4. Let's consider others better than ourselves (Philippians 2:3)
Philippians 2:3 says, “Let nothing be done through strife or vanity, but in lowliness of mind let each one consider others better than himself.” It is difficult to consider others better. But we believers should consider others better than ourselves. A home in which the husband treats his wife and the wife cares for his husband is a beautiful home. Those who love God do not ignore or forsake others. Families who come up to holy water on Sunday because they love God even though they are far away, families who live with a heart that loves God no matter what... There are many truly wonderful families among us. Our members are better than me. I pray that we will become a church that considers others better than ourselves. So how can you have such a mind?
5. Let's have the mind of Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:5, Revelation 9:7-8)
Philippians 2:5 says, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” There is a saying in the old sayings that is the heart of human face. The face is human, but the heart is an animal. Revelation 9:7-8 says, “The appearance of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle, and on their heads was a crown like gold, and their faces were like a human face, and they had hair like that of a woman, and they had the hair of a lion. It is like this,” he says. But we bless you to live with the face of a human and the heart of Jesus. I believe that when we have that heart, we will consider others better than ourselves, our heart will become one with God, our love will become one, and our will become one.
