▒▒▒ Romans 7:15-25
Second, the Holy Spirit works in us. The Holy Spirit breathes good thoughts into us. Acts 10 is about the Holy Spirit given to the Gentiles. The Apostle Peter was taking a nap in Joppa, and in a dream a large vessel like a cloth came down. It contained four-legged animals that the law said not to eat. “Eat, Peter,” came the voice of the Lord. But Peter did not eat the food. Because it wasn't clean. God says to him, “Why do you say that what I have cleansed is unclean, eat it.” After a while, two strangers come to see Peter. They were sent to worship by Cornelius, the centurion of the Roman army that ruled Israel. At that time, he knew the meaning of the dream and knew that they were sent by God. The last part of Acts 10 records the coming of the Holy Spirit as they worship. Peter and the Jews wondered when the Holy Spirit came upon the Gentiles. However, contrary to their thoughts, the Holy Spirit came upon the Gentiles and the gospel began to be preached.
Third, Jesus was tempted just like us. After 40 days of fasting, the devil came to Jesus and tempted Him. It was the Word that allowed Jesus to overcome temptation. Even though we pass through the valley of the shadow of death, we are not afraid because of the word. I am not afraid because the Bible says, “Your rod and your staff comfort me.” Everyone, please unite our hearts with the Word of God and unite our divided hearts with the Word. Every human being has weaknesses. We also have weaknesses in our body. Weak sides are forgotten and then revived at some point. So is sin. We thought that all our sins were washed away, but at some point it springs up and plunges us into the swamp of sin. Therefore, we must always watch and pray. In 2009, I pray in the name of the Lord that the lives of the saints will be more than enough to overcome all external enemies.
