Let's empty the title. (Mark 7:14-23)

What really defiles a person?
Does eating food with unwashed hands defile a person?
Our Lord says, "It is not what goes in into a person from the outside that defiles him; it is what comes out of a person that defiles him." (Verses 15-16)
These words of Jesus clearly see through people's corruption.
No matter how dirty food is, when it enters a person, it does not enter the heart, but into the stomach. Food that enters the stomach does not defile a person.
What defiles a person is the things that reside in a person's heart.
When they come out of our body, we can see how dirty and shabby they are.
“For out of the heart of a man come evil thoughts: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, licentiousness, jealousy, slander, pride, and foolishness. ~23)
How out-going are people?
They pretend to be holy, to pretend to be godly, and to pretend to have faith.
However, there are all kinds of dirty and shabby things in the heart, and they come out of the body from time to time to defile themselves and others.
Before judging or condemning others by their outward appearance or behavior, we must first examine what is within ourselves.
And we must humbly come before God, kneel down, and offer daily atonement sacrifices to remove the filth from our hearts.
I want you to think about what dirty things you need to empty and get rid of right now.
If we do not empty it and put it away, we cannot hear the voice of God. You cannot go before God. I hope that today will be a day where you can correct your relationship with God by emptying out what you need to empty and putting away what you want to put away.
