Let's give the title 'Daily burnt offering'.

Everything in this world is completely done in God's plan and will. With the conquest of Canaan in front of us, God is proceeding step by step according to the order in His plan. Before distributing the land, the census is done again, and the land is allocated to each in proportion to the population. And now, in the footsteps of Moses, he sets up a new young leader, Joshua, in front of the people and delegates his authority to him.
Now, after all these things have been accomplished, God tells Moses about the ordinances that the Israelites will keep in the land of Canaan forever.
Today's text speaks about the daily “regular burnt offering” and “the burnt offering offered on the Sabbath and on the first day of every month.”
God tells us to offer two lambs of one year old without blemish every day as a burnt offering and an ephah of fine flour as a meal offering.
And on every Sabbath, two rams and a grain offering of fine flour were to be offered, and on the first day of each month two young bulls, a ram, and seven lambs a year old without blemish were to be offered with the grain offering and drink offerings. You tell me to give it to you.
Usually, whenever we come across the words of Leviticus or the story of sacrifice in the Old Testament, it is a story that is far from us, and sometimes we hear it as if it has nothing to do with us. But you should know that this is not the case at all. Among the Old Testament, the Leviticus Bible is the most important Bible. The sacrifices in the Old Testament are also important words that are closely related to us today, not at all.
In order to properly understand the Old Testament sacrifices, we must meditate on why God required them of them. Was God's request for animal sacrifices to be eaten? Not at all. God has no interest in sacrifices. They are only interested in the hearts of those who offer them and their relationship with them. By offering sacrifices, the people of the Old Testament restored their broken relationship with God and their broken relationship with sin. It is God's original intention to offer sacrifices to restore the holy image that God desires by offering sacrifices.
No one would dispute that the Old Testament sacrifices meant “worship” today.
God wants us to have a “regular burnt offering” every day. He wants us to present ourselves to God as a living and holy sacrifice to God every Sabbath (Romans 12:1). On the first day of every month, He wants us to offer more sacrifices and come to God to offer sacrifices.
I hope that today will be such a day to meditate on God who wants to have a beautiful relationship with us, and to offer our bodies to God as a holy and living sacrifice.
