Title: Let's Cross Over
Contents :
As the ministry of Jesus began in earnest, day after day, there was no rest in the midst of people. Especially in chapter 4, he taught many things through parables. After teaching the parable of the mustard seed, he made the disciples hurry and told them to cross over to the other side. And while crossing over there, he met a terrible storm. At first, you probably thought it was ordinary. But as the winds grew stronger and the storms intensified, they became terrified, and when they finally felt the threat of death, they woke Jesus up, and Jesus had been sleeping until then.
Where's that side?
Jesus works on the west side of the Sea of Galilee and tells him to cross over to the east. It is the ‘place you must cross’ that our Lord has commanded. Even when the wind blows and there is a storm, it is a place you have to cross. Because it is the command and word of the Lord. There, eternal victory and God's blessing await.
making a big storm
There are always big winds and waves waiting for the river that our life crosses. He said that in the midst of these storms and storms in our lives, we learn what the world is and what life is like, learn the wisdom and functions of life, and furthermore, find the value and purpose of life right away. Then, I would like to summarize for a moment what the historical incident where the disciples of Jesus met a storm while sailing on the Sea of Galilee is teaching our lives today.
These winds and waves are what motivates them to seek Jesus Christ.
There are many times in our lives when we sail with sails in the wind, we forsake Jesus Christ for what we need. Therefore, it is said that this storm is a storm that makes people seek the Almighty Jesus Christ.
It is the storm that made the disciples know Jesus Christ right away.
Here on the Sea of Galilee, a storm caused the disciples to re-cognize Jesus Christ. The disciples' view of Jesus during that time was clearly wrong. Now, Jesus made it possible to know Jesus right through the great storm. Creator Jesus, infinite power, helper. Before this storm, I did not fully believe in the Lord. When I met the storm, I realized that my knowledge, skills, and experience were powerless and helpless, and I completely depended on and believed in Jesus.
Most believers also encounter difficult problems, pray, and experience them to grow up in the right faith.
Our Eternal Promised Land!! A place of victory, blessing and glory!! When we go to the other side where we will live with the Lord, even if there is a great storm, we will grow in right faith by relying on the Lord.
