Let's pursue the above in the title

Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Think of the things above, not the things of the earth (Colossians 3:1-2).
It's New Year's Day in 1974. I pray in the name of the Lord that from this first day of the new year, many alumni will have a year filled with abundant grace in their homes and businesses. Looking ahead at the beginning of the New Year, you should see an expansive and endless horizon, but it is not, and it seems that the blue rock cliff is blocking the front. First of all, we have to make a living, but the economic outlook of our country is that the recession will appear in the new year, after the oil shock. When they say they will rule it by force, the people and government officials are walking on a tight parallel line. The prospects for the people's free voluntary collective unity are not bright, and it is an atmosphere of unrest where it is not known what will happen at any moment in the international situation. Moreover, tensions are heightening due to lack of resources, population explosion, and expansion of pollution.
It is a truly astounding reality as neighboring countries only precede their own interests and do not care about the sacrifice of our people. Some false prophets are prophesying that people and nations are standing on towers by flattering government and money just like in the days of Jeremiah, and that they are at peace and at peace even on the brink of crisis. Even today, in this grim reality, like the eve of a storm, we are now in a place where we are in a place where we are encamping to meet the enemy as we welcome the first day of January 1974.
1974 is called the beginning of the future era, and that future era is not the era of brilliant light, but the era of gloomy darkness. All the roads that humans used to go out on a flat surface, the road to materialism, and the road to power supremacy were blocked, and now we have entered a new era in which we must look to the sky, think about the will of the sky, and follow the will of the sky. All newspapers in the New Year's issue reflected this meaning in their New Year's Address. The JoongAng Ilbo suggests in the New Year's issue that the era of volume has passed and that we should find a new value. I don't know why this age has awakened the Great Five Awakening so that we cannot find Christ and God, we still do not bend our stiff necks, we still do not know how to kneel down on our stiff knees, and we still do not give up our pride. If the road you are going is blocked, you will turn around. If you do something wrong, you will turn around. If you deceive with just excuses, you will be in big trouble.
I now believe that the only way to live in this new age is to look to God, think about His will, and follow Him. To look at God means to put the indicators of history and life on the completion of God's work of redemption. To think only of the meaning is to reflect the Christian thought, that is, the ideas of freedom, equality, peace, and justice, as the concrete details of philosophy. To know, to follow him means that all politics, economy, culture, individuals and families, society, and national order on this earth must be implemented in the spirit of Christ. The year Gapin (甲寅) will be a decisive battlefield where they will wrestle with whether to take the history of this nation and this country from the devil's grip, or whether the sons of God will turn this history in the direction of God. We hope that our church's New Year missionary name will be a year of missionary success, winning victory in this unprecedented battlefield for national and national salvation.
If you look up, if you think up, if you follow up, you have a bright future. I still look forward to the future of the nation and have hopeful excitement. Even in this ordeal, I believe that God is giving this nation enough training for tomorrow. I look forward to the unity and prosperity of this nation tomorrow. It is only possible when this nation sees above, thinks only above, and follows the will above.
