Let us lead you on the right path.
In a children's fairy tale called 'Alice in Wonderland', there is a playful and clever cat called the Cheshire Cat. Alice finds her way out of Wonderland and meets the Cheshire Cat at a fork in the road. “Which way should I go?” Cheshire Cat asks Alice. “Where are you going?” Alice replies, "I don't know." Cheshire Cat smiles and replies, “If you don't know where you're going, you can't go anywhere.”
Humans need to know where they come from and where they are going. Man has a way and a way to go. That way is the way God has ordained. Its path is more accurate than that of migratory birds. You need to know the way to get to your destination. It is God's plan to train us to go our way. On the road of suffering, Job confesses, “Only he knows the way I go; and after he has tried me I will come forth as gold” (Job 23:10).
When driving, sometimes you go on unfamiliar roads. When going down such a road, most people go blindly rather than asking for a sign or a person. Then, in nine out of ten cases, you will either completely fall into an unfamiliar road or run into a dead-end alley. The same goes for the path of life. The younger you are, the less likely you are to listen to your elders. Of course, it is because there are not many good seniors, but because of the nature of human beings, he always wants to live as his own master. We should know that it was the devil's most sure attempt to destroy humanity, which he tempted in the Garden of Eden. Sailing ships are always oriented relative to the lighthouse. In this way, everyone must have the Spirit of God in their hearts and make Him the lighthouse of their lives. Since creation, God has guided millions of people to settle in a harbor of blessing, peace, love, and success. The root of wisdom is to humble yourself and accept God as the master of your heart. God protects and keeps the way of the saints.
“For he guards the way of justice, to preserve the way of his saints” (Proverbs 2:8).
And the Bible says.
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in its end it is the way of death” (Proverbs 16:25).
“For narrow is the gate and stray is the way that leads to life, and few find it” (Matthew 7:14).
One day a blizzard struck. The next morning, the neighbor's wife was playing with her two sons, her daughter, and another neighbor's two children on the snow-covered road. The woman walked as children and leaders, making a path in the snow, at the forefront. If you follow the path that the wife is making as she goes, nothing will happen, but if you do not follow that path, the children will stumble and fall. In the Christian life, we can focus on Jesus, the beginning of our faith, and simply follow Him as our Leader. The road before us is not well known because we have not seen it. But when we follow our leader who goes before us, the path becomes the path for us.
“Wisdom will make you walk in the way of the good, and keep the way of the righteous” (Proverbs 2:20).
When I step into the woods, I sometimes feel terrified. Because you are not sure if you are on the right path. So when you see traces of people passing by, you can't be so happy. So, what would life be like? A life that becomes a way when people do not know what to do!
When you want to go to church but want to start a life of faith, but don't know what to do, isn't it beautiful to lead a life that leads the way to someone who is in pain and wants help but is at a loss?
“He who walks in the way has peace in his steps, but he who walks in a crooked way will be found out” (Proverbs 10:9).
If you look at the history books of the Old Testament, it is said that whenever the kings of the northern kingdom of Israel were introduced, they followed "the way of Jeroboam" (1 Kings 15:34, etc.). It means to follow an evil way. It means that when he became king, he went along the path of his evil ancestor, Jeroboam, and did evil.
On the other hand, when introducing the kings of the various southern kingdoms of Judah, they are introduced to have followed "the way of David" (2 Kings 22:2, etc.). He also followed the path of his predecessors. But the results are very different. Let's be the way in this world. Of course, like Jesus, let us not be the path of truth itself, but the path that leads to that path. Let's live that way so that those who follow me can come to Jesus. Well, the great love of humanity is great, but let's just become the easy way from the field of our lives to the life and truth that leads to the Lord. People follow me.
“His ways are pleasant ways, and all his paths are peace.” (Proverbs 3:17)
The road does not start from scratch. If you take the first step and keep walking day by day, a new path will be created. That is the path of the pioneer. The pioneer's path can sometimes be a path of trials and tribulations. But for a better life and greater hope, we have to pave a new path.
Those who make their way through the thick forest first plan the path in their mind. It is dreaming. Our lives are nothing more than making our childhood dreams a reality. A trail in the forest begins with one person's steps. The distant sky road to the moon and to Pluto came from a child's innocence and innocence. One person goes first and several people follow, creating a path even in the thick forest where there was no path. Let us first take the lead in the narrow way, the way of the cross, the way of faith, and the way of righteousness, and let us guide and guide those who are lost and wandering.
* Prayer: Lord, who is the way, the truth, and the life, I do not know all the ways I am going, but please guide me one step at a time. I want to live for Jesus, lead me on my way. Wherever you go and whatever you do, help me to live according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit who always accompanies you. Despite my prayers, I thought that what was happening in my life was just a coincidence. Help me to understand God's guidance that all things have already been prepared for me, and to trust only God. Let us lead those who are going down the path of destruction to the path of righteousness, the path of life. We pray in the name of Jesus, our leader. Amen
