The loss of significant critical equipment during the war is also staggering. About 2,000 planes were destroyed by the South Korean and UN forces combined, and 2,200 by the North Korean army. In comparison, it is a liberal democracy based on our individualism and a market economy system that recognizes private property. As such, when we simply compare systems and ideologies, we cannot find even the slightest homogeneity between these two countries.
Therefore, it is better to discard the illusion that both regimes can easily bring reconciliation or reunification. Kim Jong-il's strategy for unification of red goods never changes. Although the tactics to deceive Korea may change from time to time, the strategy for unification of red flags never changes. It is important to understand that two countries are two countries that have the same ethnic roots and speak the same language, but live in different cultures with completely different ideological content and national and social systems.
