Make a decision before the sacrament

Decide before the sacrament / 1 Corinthians 11:23-34
A long time ago there was a national poll in America. “Which words would you most like to hear?” It was a survey. The phrase people love to hear the most is "I love you." It was. The second most wanted phrase was "You are forgiven." But do you know what the third most popular answer is? "Supper is ready.," or "Dinner is ready." that's saying Eating is important. Therefore, you can also share the grace while eating together at church or on the ranch.
We are now in the season of Lent. We would like to share “the right attitude to partake of the Lord’s Supper” in the text of the text about the Lord’s Supper. Jesus' sacrifice of flesh and blood on the cross reflects the Lord's earnest desire to save us, be with us, renew and restore us. I hope you can understand the precious meaning of the Holy Spirit.
First, the teaching of the Lord's Supper is to live with the joy of salvation I have given you.
The change we received may be a long time ago, it may be a while ago, or it may be just before. However, it must be clear that we must not forget the love of the Lord who saved us on the cross.
It is the story of parents who sent their daughters to college. One evening, I got a phone call from my daughter, who went to college. But I'm crying on the phone. When my mother, who was so surprised, asked the reason, “I met Jesus while I was at the retreat! I cry for joy!”
Now, there is one thing that you and I will be amazed and grateful for for the rest of our lives. It says, “I am saved! You are saved too!” The heart of the Lord that we realize is the love that gives us everything. You gave us your flesh, and you gave us your blood. Now I need to know the living Lord in my heart, in my mind, and in my life with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to this world more than 2,000 years ago and died for our sins. More precisely, He came to forgive my sins and give me a new life. Romans 5:8 says, “God demonstrates his love for us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” He tore his body for us, shed his blood and gave his life. The sacrament is a place to remember this. how great is love what a great grace Because of that merit, our sins were forgiven and we became children of God. Those who did not deserve it were given the grace of salvation.
Verse 24 of today's text says, “Remember.” Ladies and gentlemen, this is not just a thought and ceremony. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, make the event of the cross your own, restore it, and renew it.
This is the story of a man named Young-seop Cha.
Once upon a time, there lived a scallop in the rice field / The mother rook lay eggs / The young were well raised / The young grew well / The mother grew old and became an empty shell / One day it rained a lot / An empty shell was about to float in the lush paddy water / When the baby squirrels see their mother / Mom said it would be fun to go on a boat.
A mother worm feeding her own flesh while raising her cubs and dying, children who do not know their mother's heart just because they love it, but there is a deep emotion in the love of a mother worm in them.
The sacrifice and love of Jesus on the cross are yours. It's not just Lent, it's the grace of love given to us to remember and be thankful for for the rest of our lives!
Second, the teaching of the Eucharist is to preach my love and to live with love.
In this complicated world, in a world where you don't know what it is, if you want to live a life that pleases the Lord, you must always check one thing. is to love Did you really love each other? are you in love What we need more than anything else is to love again. "Let love. Let's embrace with love, overcome with love, let's see with love.” This is God's appeal to us.
AW. Tozer says: “If the ego does not die, the ego will kill you. Do you want to be rescued from this self? There is only one way! Training can't bring it out of you. Training helps a little, but doesn't kill it. Education cannot drive it out of you. Education may refine you, but it is powerless to kill the ego. Only the cross of Jesus Christ can kill the enemy within you.
Gentlemen, to love killing an enemy is to love.
Through the death of Jesus Christ, I, you, and us, all of us, have been united with Jesus. We are all attached to Jesus now. But we must be united not only by being in the Lord, but also by our love for one another. Hope for this, yearn for it, and win with love. So I hope that we can become true children of God and love each other as brothers and sisters.
But the thing to remember is that everyone is my brother and sister, not just the one I like and I love. Those who hate me, oppose me, and get in my way are also brothers and sisters. It is not only me, but all of us who will receive the love of the Lord's flesh, blood, and cross, and they and everyone outside of us should receive it as well. I hope you realize that this is the heart of the Lord who gave the sacrament.
As 1 John 4:11 says, “Beloved, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” Just as he loved us unconditionally as in these words, I hope that we will be able to love without reason, love, give love, and love again.
When faith starts in my heart, it is difficult to realize the true grace, so we must understand and understand the heart of the Lord. That is why the Holy Spirit is still working in our hearts. If you obey the Holy Spirit to work on your heart, you will come to know the Lord's heart, which understands even the deep things of God.
Let us love our neighbors deeply, forever, and continuously with the power of love that received the flesh and blood of the Lord. The one who cannot love, “You are too far to be close, too far to love! I bless you for being able to reach out your loving hand again.
The third lesson of the sacrament is to believe and experience that the Lord has prepared good things in front of you.
It is not a vague hope that better things, better days, and more joyous things are in front of me. Obviously, the Lord is preparing. This is also the faith of Jehovah Jireh. Abraham wasn't 100% sure about the question of why God had asked him to sacrifice his son on Mount Moriah, but one thing was certain, he had faith that God would always give me “good things” from the midst of nothing.
In the meaning of the sacrament given by Jesus in the text, it makes us realize what will happen in the future, and it shows that we will participate in the eternal supper in heaven with the coming Lord. But it's not just the distant future. God, who has prepared the kingdom of heaven for us, is also interested in all of our future work. Folks, even if everyone doesn't know me, the Lord is with me. Even if someone who believed like that can leave me, the Lord will not forsake us. Rather, He is the Lord who does not say we do not know, does not forsake us, and still guides our path.
There is a story in the footsteps of the saints. A saint met the Lord in a dream, and the Lord showed him the way he lived his life. You see the footprints you see on the path of your life, like a distant sandy beach. Sometimes I see a way to walk with my family, or alone, and then with Jesus. Then I saw a time when I was young. Surprisingly, in that very difficult time, I can't see the footsteps of the Lord that should have been there, but only two footsteps. When the saints say they feel sorry for the Lord, the Lord speaks. “These footprints are the footprints I walked on carrying you.”
Everyone, are you familiar with this story? But I hope that this will be a time for us to once again believe that the Lord is surely taking care of me and realize the blessings of the sacrament.
People worry a lot about what's coming to me, and what's going to happen to me. It can be fear. Even now, the economy is difficult, there are many unemployed, and the world is difficult, but what is really difficult is the vague fear that this will turn into a wrong world. But the Lord says. I hope that you will come to meet the believers who believe that “no matter what circumstance, whatever circumstances, whatever your circumstances, I will be with you” and receive this sacrament to be convinced that life in heaven is prepared with him.
Our saints really say, “I can't believe it. There is nothing to lose, nothing to be afraid of”. “He shouts out loud, and there must be a corner where he believes in something he is confident about! There are times when you hear Indeed, we believers live a life of confidence because we have a corner of our faith. God, who has prepared good things, we find faith in him in the sacrament.
Romans 8:32 says, “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all.” To realize this is the Eucharist. “How with his Son” refers to Jesus whom we believed. “Will he not give us all things as gifts?” It is definitely a gift given.
God's love for his son is in front of you. He is the one who can give everything else. Everyone, trust him. God, who even gave us a son, loves us that much.
This is also the Lord's love in the sacrament. The Lord has told us to celebrate the sacrament. At this time, with the help of the Holy Spirit, I hope that Jesus, who died for me with the power of the cross and resurrection, will be with us and live anew with the Father who helps us. So let this season of Lent be a season of restoration. Restore faith, hope, and love, and live a life of change by dying and living with the Lord. So, I hope that every day will be a thrill and a blessing as you examine yourself as a saved child, love and live a new life, and experience the Lord who cares for you and prepares you.
