The main text is Numbers 14:1-10.
Verse 1: “The whole congregation lifted up their voices and cried out, and the people wept all night long.”
Verses 2 3 “If we had died in Egypt or wished we had died in this wilderness, why would God lead us to the land of Canaan, so that we might die by the sword and fall? Our wives and wives will be taken captive, so let’s go back to Egypt.”
There are words of faith, there are words of realistic reality, and there are words of devilish lies. Religious words are pleasing to God, and my spirit lives and receives blessings. Realistic (factual, situational) words represent a person's knowledge, judgment of the situation, and the words of one's position. Words of lies (separation, hehha) are liked by the devil, the spirit dies, and blessings are lost. There were many good leaders around Moses. There were about 70 elders and chieftains like Aaron and Abinadab. But they all died and could not enter the land of Canaan. However, Joshua and Caleb understood the facts based on the facts and circumstances rather than lying, and went beyond them and spoke religiously. In particular, the reason Joshua became Moses' successor was not because he was great, but because he obeyed and obeyed Moses' commands unconditionally.
Numbers 14:24 “But my servant Caleb has a different heart and has followed me completely.” God's blessings and curses are different from the world's standard that the many are right and the few are wrong. Do you believe or do not believe the promises of God!, Do you complain about the reality or give thanks!, Are you discouraged or dependent on the Lord!, Are you religious or unbelieving?, Are you speaking of faith or lying?
It seems that the majority is right, and I hope that there will be a prudent attitude, wisdom, and discernment of faith moving forward toward a blessed future that flows with milk and honey to this people who are swept together and do not know where to go, for the country and people in this difficult time. Please pray.
