Text: Matthew 11:25-30

Title: No one knows the Father except the Son.

Because God revealed Himself only through the Son, no one in the world can fully know God except through the Son. The Israelites slaughtered cattle and slaughtered sheep in the temple for about 2,000 years and offered their blood to God, but that was not the only way to know God. This is because the blood of animals is only a ritual that purifies only the human body. Then, when the time was fulfilled, God sent his son to the land of Israel, and they did not recognize the Son of God at all, even after serving God very fervently for about 2,000 years. We can see that no matter how hard people try and work hard to know God, they can never fully know God through their efforts.

To say that the Son of God has come into this world is as if God appeared in this world in the flesh. “Behold, a virgin will conceive and bear a son, and he will call his name Immanuel, which is translated, ‘God with us’” (Matthew 1:23).

The translation of the word “Immanuel” means “God is with us.” Also, since God exists as a spirit, He cannot appear directly before humans, and even if He appears in such a way, all humans will have to die. Knowing this well, God chose the method of coming directly to mankind through his Son. As it turns out, it is the fact that no one in the world can truly know about God except through the Son. To set this right, Jesus exclaimed, “He who believes in me does not believe in me, but in the one who sent me, and he who sees me sees the one who sent me” (John 12:44-45).

However, human beings are foolish, unable to understand this deep will of God, and rush to the reality that is happening right before their eyes. He did not want to believe at all about the reality of the true God who is coming. God was concerned about such things in advance, and sent the Law and the Prophets to keep them from being exalted, but they did not care at all about such things and acted out of their own hearts. An extraordinary thing had happened. This is an event that clearly shows how dangerous I am when we humans are unable to humble ourselves.

The same thing can happen over and over again not only to the Israelites in the Old Testament, but also to the Christians today who believe in Jesus and become spiritual Israelites. Christians today are literally all who have become God's people through the shedding of Jesus' blood. The present Christians were able to exist because of the grace that Jesus shed on the cross, who came to the land of Israel about 2000 years ago. Also, the grace of the blood that Jesus shed allowed the forgiveness of the original sin of man, which cannot be solved by the blood of animals, and the unprecedented indwelling of the Holy Spirit in man's spirit. This Holy Spirit is taken out from the Father and indwelt in human spirit in the name of the Son. The word that this Holy Spirit has come is a sign of salvation for the Israelites who have lived according to the law, and a spiritual people for the Gentiles who have lived like dogs and pigs. It will be a sign of the beginning.

Now that the time has come, God is preparing a son to send to the Gentiles. This Son will not be prepared in heaven, but a chosen one will be sent from among the Gentiles of this world. He will be revealed to the world in perfect form, having already had everything he had as a son, and having no inferiority to him as a son of God. He is already being tested by God's intense training and high-level spiritual training in order to qualify as a son. As a human being, he is receiving the best spiritual training course. When he appears in this world, he will not appear alone, but as Jesus worked with the 12 disciples, he will also appear with his ministers. This is what God had already planned from the beginning of the world. Only now will it be revealed to the world by the Son to come.

As Jesus said, “It has been granted to you, but not to them, to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 13:11). After all, considering this, as the saying goes, “No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those who receive a revelation according to the Son’s wishes” (Matthew 11:27). We can see the fact that they cannot know God except in part.
