People who have been called

Those who are called (Genesis 39:1-6)

True wisdom cannot be obtained by one's own power and strength. It is only through hardships and adversity that we can obtain it with God's help. Anyone can face trials, but how you react to those situations determines your life. Some people get frustrated easily, but God's people worry for a while and realize that trials are a process for God's blessing. All things will work together for good (Romans 8:28) and we should not be anxious because it is to imitate the image of Jesus through trials. Joseph in the text was the eleventh son who was loved by his parents, and he had an unusual dream and hope, so he became the object of envy and jealousy from his brothers. Being the object of envy and jealousy is a sign that you have a dream. Joseph, who grew up as a man of dreams and faith, was a true wise man who prayed to God and always stood before God. If you realize what you cannot do on your own and pray to God when you are faced with trials and hardships, He will work even greater. What kind of person was called like Joseph?

First, they are those who are always grateful beyond circumstances.

Joseph fell into a pit because of the envy of his brothers, and he was sold to Egypt and imprisoned unjustly. However, Joseph did not blame or complain about God, but rather lived a life of gratitude. He was a man with whom God was with him (verse 2), and he was a man of thanksgiving. A sincere life, always rejoicing and devoting to others, and a life of gratitude are unstoppable in life. The road is always open. Those who complain, grumble, envy, and fight will not only be with God, but will only get stuck in their lives. Therefore, like Joseph, you should always be a person of gratitude beyond circumstances.

Second, those who are praised (verse 4).

Joseph was a man with the Lord who was favorably recognized and praised (verse 3). The reason Joseph was recognized in Potiphar's house was because he was different from other servants. He was recognized by Potiphar, recognized in prison and eventually recognized as prime minister, loved and admired. For those who are recognized and admired, the environment does not matter wherever they go. Because who I am in the environment is what matters. Those who are called by God must be recognized. This is what people who have received God's grace look like. As Jonah suffered because of his disobedience and resentment to God, we should especially avoid meeting people who complain or are not with God. That person, too, can surely perish together. Therefore, instead of disobeying and complaining to God, you should become a person of approval and praise.

Third, they are the people who will always be victorious over the phone even if they suffer unfairly.

Joseph, who was imprisoned because of Potiphar's wife, eventually became the prime minister. Those with whom God is with Him, even in impossible situations, God makes it possible. Joseph passed many years before he was sold to Egypt and became prime minister. The longer it takes, the greater blessings can be received. Praying and devoting yourself does not mean that you will soon receive blessings and become successful. Great blessings and successes are bound to take many years of trial and refinement. I believe that you will become a person who is used before God and a Christian with you through many years of refinement and transformation.
