Text: 1 Samuel 26: 21-25

"Saul said, "I have sinned. Return, my son David. I will never again harm you, because you value my life today. I have done a foolish thing; Look at the spear, send a boy to take him away, and the LORD will reward every man for his righteousness and faithfulness, for the LORD has delivered the king into my hand today, but I do not want to stretch out my hand against the LORD's anointed. I hope that the LORD will value my life as much as I do with your life today, and that you will deliver me out of all trouble. Saul said to David, “Blessed be you, my son David. "I will do great things, and I will surely gain victory." David went his way, and Saul returned to his place.'

Wang Yangming's disciple asked his master. "What is the Tao?"

Wang Yangming replied with a smirk. “Let’s eat,” the disciples asked again. "What is the Tao?"

“If you are sleepy, go to sleep, if the chicken crows, you wake up, if you are tired, rest, and if you are hungry, eat.” “But I don’t know.”

"Knowing the 'time' of what to do now is the 'do.' Now is the time to eat, so let's eat." There is a time for everything. Knowing the time and living in the right time is the best way to live.

'There is a time for everything. There is a right time for everything that happens in the world. There is a time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to pluck. A time to kill and a time to live. There is a time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to dance for joy...' (Ecclesiastes 3:1-4)

There are most important problems that we need to solve in life.

First, what kind of person am I before God?

Second, what will I do for God?

Third is the question of whether I am really ready to work for God.

In the case of David in the text, he was called by God and anointed to be king of Israel. He was also an obedient servant of God. So, what is your self-portrait? Do you have a clear identity before God? Those who truly know God can be said to have established their identity before God. If you do not establish your own identity in your time, our souls will inevitably wander, and it is only in our 30s and 40s that we tend to raise our hands before God. May we know the hope God has called us to in our youth and discover ourselves so that we can plan the great things we can do for God. We also expect God's reward and hope that our baby dreams will be within us. Our life is not a 100-meter sprint. Our life is like a marathon. You have to look far.

Jesus paid the price on the cross to give us salvation. Please keep in mind that you cannot give your life completely for God without paying the price of the bloody battle. God sees the possibilities and visions within us and sends us through fiery trials to humble us rather than exalt us right away. Be a possessor of faith that respects God like David. When God Himself humbles us in order to confirm that we have dreams and truth toward God in us, we must overcome trivial temptations and endure with patience. If we do not obey the little things and do not win, God never entrusts us with big things.

“My soul waits for the Lord more than a watchman waits for the morning; yea, more than a watchman waits for the morning (Psalm 130:6).

Waiting is not stopping. In God's eyes, it is an active movement above all else. To wait means to look to the Lord. A person waiting for a bus is bound to stare intently at a car coming. If we sincerely wait for God, we will look to Him, seek Him, and hope for Him. God's covenant is fulfilled through those who wait. We are not used to waiting. Be patient and can't stand it. It's only a few months. Jesus is still waiting. “My soul, why are you discouraged and why are you troubled within me? Look to God, and I will rather praise my God, who helps my face (Psalm 43:5).

We must obey God's ways and wait for His time for us. Like David's heart not to do it in human ways. David, who received his promise, lived with the belief that God would fulfill it. May you too learn to live by faith. Those who love God are bound to hear God's voice in all difficulties. Those who wait for God's time! I hope that you will become the people of God who create the future in Him.

* Prayer: God who has been silent for so long, my little faith waits eagerly for your mercy. Sometimes, even when it seems that you have forgotten me and you are so far away, that I no longer have the strength to stand up, help me to hope for the time you are silently waiting for me. While looking at the hope of heaven, give me the patience to endure even when the reality is difficult and difficult. We only look to God because we know that the true power of God is revealed when God's time and God's method meet. Do not force them to carry out their will, but allow them to persevere while waiting for God's time. Do not neglect the process to achieve your goals. Grant me strong faith to not lose hope in waiting. I pray in Jesus name amen
