person who fits the title

Title: A person who agrees with your heart (Acts 13:21-22)

There was a 13-year-old boy named John, who was barely making a living by working in a brick factory in Philadelphia, USA. One Sunday, John decided to find something he could do on his own without telling anyone. Although his wage was 7 cents, he bought a brick every day and started laying it. It would take John two years to complete the long and wide road by himself, but John's eyes were already dazzled by the brick-paved road and the crowds of people entering it.

But the miracle happened within a month. The church adults who reflected on John's dedication decided to demolish the old church as well as the road and build a new one. The boy who accomplished this miracle is named John Wannamaker, the king of department stores in the United States and the founder of countless YMCA buildings around the world. I hope you believe that the kind of heart you live your life of faith with is the way to experience God's miracles.

The words of this text are the contents of the words that Saul was rejected and David was established after God's heart.

Then why is David a man after God's heart?

1) David repents of his mistakes.

David repents of his sins when Nathan the prophet pointed out that he had committed adultery with the woman of Bathsheba.

King David's power at that time was immense. Nowadays, the president can't move when he is driven by the people's mouths or public opinion, but in the past, kings had tremendous power to kill and save people.

Even in such a situation, the prophet Nathan went forth with the word of God and pointed out David's sin because King David sinned.

2 Samuel 12:9 Then why did you despise the word of the LORD, and did what was evil in my sight? You struck Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and killed him with the sword of the children of Ammon, and took his wife and took her as your wife, and the sword shall not depart from your house forever. said no

13 David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD." Nathan said to David, "The LORD also has forgiven your sins, and you will not die."

Psalm 51:7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean. Wash me from my sins, and I will be whiter than snow. 9 Turn your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities. 10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit in me. 11 Do not cast me away from your presence, nor take your Holy Spirit from me 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me. Please give me a pure heart (Gospel Song)

David was a man after God's heart when he made a mistake and repented thoroughly.

2) Glorified God everywhere

When David defeated Goliath, he went forward only glorifying God.

1 Samuel 17:45 David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have insulted.

When the ark came to the city of David, 2 Samuel 6:14 David danced with all his might before the LORD, and David was wearing a linen ephod at that time. (Michal)

Psalm 30:11 You have turned my sorrow into dance; You have removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.

Most of David's psalms of psalms glorify God, and David glorifies the LORD with the words of this song on the day the LORD delivered David from the hand of all enemies and from the hand of Saul, 2 Samuel 22:2 My rock, my fortress, my deliverer for me, 3 my rock from which I take refuge.

David was a man after God's own heart to glorify God everywhere.

3) David had a deep longing for the temple.

2 Samuel 7:2 The king said to Nathan the prophet, Behold, the ark of God, which dwells in the house of cedar, is in the midst of the veil. 5 Will you build for me the house where I will live?

13He will build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

1 Chronicles 22:2 David commanded that the strangers who were living in the land of Israel were gathered together and masons were to work the stones for the building of the temple of God.
