Title: A person who lives on a mission Text: Acts 20:17-25
What is the difference between an unbeliever and a saint? It means that life has a different purpose. Unbelievers live because of money, live because of fame, live because of beauty, and live because of power. But the saints live for their mission. It is the saints who live for a mission and die for a mission. Everyone! Are you a disciple of Jesus? Are you sure? Then the purpose of your life should be your mission. The path of discipleship lies in mission. So what is your mission? Mission is the Greek word 'diakonia', and diakonevw (to serve, to serve) means to serve (serve) activity, that is, to serve. In other words, our mission is to help unbelievers to gain eternal life by sharing the gospel, the bread of life, to unbelievers. The mission of evangelism is the biggest and most important mission we have. Why did Jesus come to this table? You came because of evangelism. Mark 1:38 He said, “Let us go to other nearby villages, and we will preach there too, for this is what I have come.”
1. Those who live on a mission are not afraid of death.
2. Those who live on a mission are not ashamed of the gospel.
Acts 20:20 Those who live on a mission are not ashamed of the gospel. The apostle Paul, who lived on a mission, did not hover around the gospel. He proudly preached and taught the gospel. Because the gospel is the power to save people. The word 'reluctant' here means 'to withdraw' or 'to withdraw'. If so, to speak without hesitation means to speak confidently in front of anyone. Those who live with a mission are not afraid to fulfill their mission wherever they are. We preach the gospel boldly in front of everyone. Romans 1:16 Everyone! I need to know that there are people who have to live because of me. We need to know that there are people who have to live because of us. We need to know that there are unbelievers who must survive because of our church.
3. Those who live by mission are those who live by the Holy Spirit.
4. Those who live on a mission are not afraid of trials and tears.
