Get food on time
Matthew 24:44-48 “Therefore, be ready too, for the Son of Man comes at an unexpected time. 45 Who is the faithful and wise servant who will be a faithful and wise servant, to give his master his household food in due season, 46 when the master comes? Blessed is the servant who sees him doing this. 47 Truly I say to you, the master will entrust all that he has to him.' - Amen.
Matthew 24 (Mark 13; Luke 21;) prophesied the signs that would occur at the end of the earth. And in the last part, the main text, he commanded the servants who testify of the Word to supply food wisely in the time of the end. Then, in this age, the saints must ponder what kind of word they should listen to in time. will be
That is why Romans 12:2 says, 'Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the will of God, which is good and pleasing and perfect.'
We would like to receive a message on the subject of <Receive the form on time>
1. Because we do not know the end of the day and the history of the future
The world may criticize the life of Christians as foolish or extremely unscientific, but we, believers, want to stay within the time frame of God's work. We call it the life of faith. before the text,
Matthew 24:36 "But that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
Acts 1:7 He said, "It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has set by his own authority."
Here, the words time and due date are used to denote the two concepts of time, from which kronos and kairos are written (crovnou" h] kairou;").
Chronos is the time in a straight line, the time in history yesterday, today and tomorrow, and Kairos means God's time zone, which means the right time and deadline.
That is, we humans cannot know which Kronos God will give the historical meaning of what Kairos.
Because we do not know when the Lord will move us to bless us or rebuke us, it means that we must live according to God's will. The Christian life of faith entrusts the future of history to God and lives.
How was Abraham, who is called the father of faith, when he followed God's guidance?
Hebrews 11:8 “By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went out to a land he was to receive as an inheritance, and he went out, not knowing where he was going.”
Genesis 12:4 "So Abram did as the LORD said, and Lot went with him; and Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran."
If we read these verses together again, it is read, 'By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went out to a place he was to receive as an inheritance, and he went out (according to the word of the Lord), not knowing where he was going.
Because we do not know when the end of the earth will come, we must discern the will of the Lord and live in this age rightly, and live according to the teachings of the Lord that made us overcome this age in order to win the life of the global village itself. It depends on God's revelation rather than scientific adaptation according to the world's statistics. This is the philosophy of life where the saints overcome the times and wait for the day of the Lord to come and become happy.
2. What is the food to eat in due time?
Everyone says it is the last days, but it is contradictory to say that believers in the last days have little interest in the content of their lives that must be heard and kept, and this is also a phenomenon of the last days.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 “Know this, that the times of distress will come in the last days, when men will love themselves, love money, be proud, proud, slanderers, disobedient to their parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 heartless and bitter. unrepentant, accusers, unrestrained, ferocious, not fond of what is good, 4 treacherous, selling, hasty, sleeping, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness, but denying the power of godliness. turn away from you'
2 Timothy 4:3-4 “The time is coming when people will not receive sound doctrine, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own desires, 4 and will turn away from the truth and turn away from their ears to myths.”
God wants us to teach them in the most appropriate and useful message for the field in each age. There are things we need to be aware of as both preachers and listeners, but preaching is not meant to be delivered and listened to with the same content and level to everyone.
What should be distinguished in the sermon
(1) The sermon that presides over worship is the proclamation of the word of worshiping God,
(2) For leaders, a wide range of lessons and deep will of God,
(3) Where the meeting is held for the purpose of evangelism, it is necessary to preach with a lot of leisure and various words.
The word we need to hear in this age is that we must listen to the word that is right for this time according to the heart of our Heavenly Father who sees this age.
45 We should be wise servants because he said, 'Who is a faithful and wise servant, who will be in charge of his master and give him food in due season?' Rather than giving sweet messages to suit people's hearts, we need to testify according to the will of God that we need to hear in this age, and the saints should want to hear that.
3. We are blessed when we preach the word at the right time
46'Blessed is the servant when his master comes and sees him doing this.'
It is common knowledge in the Bible that God's grace is always given to us in all things that we witness for the Lord and testify in our lives. However, according to the text, it is very meaningful to say that those who distribute food wisely at appropriate times are particularly blessed.
Revelation 1:3 “Blessed are those who read and hear the words of this prophecy, and those who keep what is written in them, for the time is near.”
Today, each church has the theme of happiness as its goal, but what is the true happiness of a Christian? Is a church that only makes me comfortable with my reality for free is a good church? Is the so-called blessing and support church a good church?
Dear saints who are truly living in the last days,
We believe that we need to wake up to whether we are not sleeping in the secularist values ideology. The world is already dominated by materialism and quantityism as the values of life. Indeed, the world has deviated from the right path for all cultures. Romans 13:11 “And ye know the time, that the hour has already come to awake from sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.”
What happens when the train goes off track?
Is it a new pleasure for a train that used to go well along the track to cross the line and run on a different path with great pain? Absolutely not.
is. When we look at this age biblically, we know that it is time to truly awaken and tremble and live a life of salvation. We need to know today's time that God understands, the time of the last days that God tells us, and long for the word that is appropriate for this time.
If you look at the prophecies of the prophets in the Old Testament times, they were hated when they preached God's revelations about rebuke, prophecy, and grace according to the circumstances of that time.
Luke 6:22-23 “Blessed are you when people hate you, and shun you, slander you, and throw away your name because of the Son of Man. 23 Rejoice and leap for joy in that day, for your reward is great in heaven. This is what he did to the prophets.'
Therefore, our members must meet the true leaders and listen carefully to the warnings about the seduced religious activities of false prophets that will occur in the last days, and then we must discern and live our faith. If we make a mistake, we will perish together with the leaders (Matthew 7:22). -23).
1 John 4:1 “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
What is the situation in today's time that God understands? It is prophesied when you open the Bible and read it. People's greed is blinding them, so they keep following their prejudices and follow the mysticism of miracles, or the theology and faith that follows the Old Testament. This is because it is easier to understand than the essence of the established faith.
We cannot understand this age because we cannot change our hearts. We do not know how the Old Testament came into the New Testament and how it was completed, and we do not understand the New Testament, so how can we know this age? As the saints of today living in the last days, knowing this time and standing firm on God's promise to fill them with true blessings, I believe that the saints must live a victorious life by living according to the holy God's economy and teachings.
