Titles Be Hearing Ears / Luke 8:4-8
In our human body, our ears are always open.
We should always keep our ears open and listen to what others have to say.
Listen carefully so that you can clearly understand and recognize what the other person is saying.
It's the same word, but if the listener misunderstands it, it's a completely different sound.
I want to be a person who can hear well.
Today's text is a parable.
The word parable is 'parabolae', which means 'to throw aside'.
To make a fact understandable, it is to have something else with it that you can understand well.
So it is to help understand the original thing by looking at the familiar thing thrown aside.
Jesus used many parables when speaking the truth of the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 13:34,35 says,
Jesus spoke all these things to the crowds in parables, and he said nothing except in parables, in order to fulfill what the prophet had said: I will open my mouth and speak in parables, and I will reveal things that have been hidden from the foundation of the world.
Starting today, we will be holding the "Spiritual Revival Society".
The Spirit Revival Sakyunghoe is a holy meeting to release the Word to revive the soul.
I hope that you will open your ears to hear the deep and mysterious truths of God's Word and become a sacramental meeting of grace.
It is said that a man sowed a seed, and the seed that was sown fell along the roadside, some on the grass, some in thorns, and still others on the soil.
The seed here is the Word of God, and the ground it fell on is the field of the heart.
1. The seeds that fell on the roadside were found and picked up by birds passing by. So the seeds will only become food for birds.
The ground is hardened as many people pass by the roadside.
Seeds cannot dig in.
Such a person is a person whose heart has been hardened by these and other thoughts, philosophy of life, philosophy of dog shit, self-obstinence, etc. throughout their lives.
So, even though we listen, we cannot take the Word into our hearts, and our philosophy like a bird in the air, our own stubbornness, and all kinds of thoughts pick up the Word.
2. The seed that fell on the rock sprouted but did not grow and died from sunburn.
There is soil on the rock, but there is a shaggy rock that is bigger than a rock, so it doesn't last long even if the seeds fall off and it dries up and dies.
The seed that fell on the rock seems to have sprouted well, but the seed of the Word cannot take root because of the rocky thing in my heart.
3. The seed that fell among the thorns grew well, but did not bear fruit.
There is good soil among the thorns, but even if the sprout grows, it cannot bear fruit because of the energy of the thorn.
We must cast away the worries of the thorny world. I need to get rid of the thorns that are growing in my heart's field without my knowledge.
4. The seeds that fell on the soil sprouted and grew, bearing abundant fruit. That is why we reaped a hundred, sixty, and thirty fold.
In order for the field of our heart to become fertile soil, we need to plow it deeply to soften the heart like the roadside.
You'll also have to lift rocks.
The thorns must also be removed and burned.
So, I hope it will become a field of hearts like the soil.
The Spirit Revival Society
① It is like a party house.
There must be people in the banquet house.
Food should be plentiful.
② It is the same as enlisting in a training camp.
When I receive a warrant, I cannot do what I want, and I must enlist.
There is no rank badge. There is no age, gender, or identity. You must receive grace just as you must receive good training.
In the training camp, you must absolutely obey the instructor's instructions.
③ It's like going into the bathroom.
Take off your rank badge and go inside. And then you have to wash the herd.
④ It is the same as being admitted to the obstetrics and gynecology department.
The mother has neither face nor eyesight. It is the job of a mother who is hospitalized in an obstetrics and gynecology department to give birth to a child by just screaming.
By singing hymns, praying diligently, and listening to the doctors, I hope that everyone will be born with a new life just like mothers who produce jade beans.
I pray that this revival society will prepare a heart-like field of good soil so that we can all be reborn as soldiers of Jesus Christ, be renewed with a clean heart, and be born again like a new life, so that we can bear fruit a hundredfold and a thousandfold.
