[ Text summary ]
Hosea lived in the time of King Jeroboam II of Northern Israel, a prosperous era.
But if we were to live well, we should have served God better, but because of man's sinful nature,
They turned away from God, worshiped idols, pursued worldly pleasures, and sinned.
God sent several prophets to cry out that they would stop sinning and repent and return.
People cover their ears and don't come back.
Before sending the prophet Hosea, God made him lead a tragic life so that he could realize God's love desperately, and Hosea vomited blood and cried out to people to return to God.
One day, Hosea hears a voice from God telling him to take Gomer, an adulterous woman, and marry her.
As he said, he takes Gomer and lives with him, but this woman is not satisfied with one man and runs away.
God ordered that this woman be brought in, and Hosea paid Gomer to bring her, and she had a child with the man.
Not long after, unable to bear his lust again, he ran away, gave birth to someone else's child, and ran again and brought him back...
Through this amazing family life, Hosea came to know the heartbreaking love of God.
Then, as if vomiting blood, they cry out to God to repent and return to the people.
[Words to us]
first. Through Hosea, we can realize the love of Jesus on the cross.
If you marry someone who is a good fit for both men and women, you will enjoy a blessed life, but if you marry someone who is not right, you will experience pain and difficulties.
It must have been difficult for Hosea to accept Gomer, who ran away from her fornication.
But God has commanded us to accept it again.
Hosea must have tasted his own death when he accepted the woman. If I hadn't decided to die, I wouldn't have accepted the woman. The heartbreaking love that Hosea accepted the woman is like the love of Jesus on the cross.
God loves us and has chosen us.
But when we sinned and went out into the world, we came back and worshiped idols again...
Nevertheless, God accepted us and sent Jesus Christ to this earth for our forgiveness, and He died on the cross.
That love of death has saved us. That love is being compared to Hosea's life.
The Bible says that love belongs to God.
How can we love our enemies and cheaters?
We absolutely love and cannot tolerate it, but we pray that God will show us the love of his only begotten Son, longing for and earning it.
We believe that when we have that kind of love, we will love and accept it.
second. It is not judgment that God causes Israel to suffer.
It was to save them.
God gave names to the children Gomer gave birth to.
The first child's name was "Jezreel," which means "all the people of Israel will be scattered."
The second child was named Lo-Ruhamah, which means "I will not show mercy to the people of Israel."
The third child was named "Roammi," which means "The people of Israel are not my people."
As Hosea called these children by name, he knew that the nation of Israel was cursed, and Israel was scattered because of war.
However, the content of the book of Hosea is that God does not end with that curse, but promises to accept them as my people and give them blessings again if they repent and return.
(Ho 1:6) And Gomer conceived again and gave birth to a daughter, and the LORD said to Hosea, "Call his name Lo-Ruhamah, for I will no longer have mercy on the house of Israel, and I will not forgive them."
(Hos 1:7) But I will have compassion on the house of Judah, and I will save it with the LORD their God; I will not save with bows and swords, or wars, or horses or horsemen.
(Hos 1:8) After Gomer weaned Loruhama, she conceived again and bore a son.
(Hos 1:9) And the LORD said, Call his name Loammi, for you are not my people, and I will not be your God.
(Hos 1:10) But the number of the children of Israel will be like the sand on the seashore, which cannot be measured or numbered; and in that place, when I said to them, ye are not my people, I will say to them, 'You are the children of the living God. would
Our country is in a lot of confusion right now.
If you ask people who do not believe in God, "It's because of the president", "It's because of the political party"...
I will give many reasons, but we will have to look at all things spiritually.
This confusion is due to the sins of our people. Mobility is covering the whole country. They do anything for money.
Also, the spirits of fornication are covering this earth. Yet there is no remorse. This kind of sin is ubiquitous in our country.
However, God does not intend to destroy our country through these things, but we believe that God will restore our country if we repent and return.
I believe that politics will be stable and the economy will recover.
As in today's text, "If we set up one leader and you become one..." We must become one with Jesus as the center.
I believe that when we accept Jesus' willful love, sacrificial love, and tolerant love, nations and peoples will become one, and broken families will become one and bear fruit.
