Take the first place in Exodus (37) (Exodus 14:15-31)
"Israel Crossing the Red Sea"
A few days after the Exodus, in a situation where the Egyptian army was behind and the Red Sea was in front of them, Moses cried out to God and prayed. did (verses 15-16). Then God hardened the hearts of the Egyptians, and if they followed, God would bury all Pharaoh's army, chariots, and horsemen in the Red Sea, revealing God's glory, and the Egyptians would know that God is God (verses 17-18) ).
The angel of God who was going before the camp of Israel with those words moved behind them, and the pillar of cloud moved from front to back and stood between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel. So there was darkness on the side of Egypt and light on the side of Israel, so that the Egyptian army could not come near the camp of Israel all night (verses 19-20). At that very moment, Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and God made the sea with a large hand move back all night, and the sea became dry land (verse 21).
Through the dry land, the Israelites walked like dry land in the middle of the sea (verse 22). So when the Israelites crossed the Red Sea on foot, Pharaoh's horses, chariots, and his horsemen all pursued them and recklessly entered the middle of the sea (verse 23). Finally, at dawn, when God saw the Egyptian army in the pillar of fire and cloud, he confused the army (verse 24) and took off the wheels of their chariots, making it difficult for them to run.
At that very moment, as God had commanded, Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at dawn the sea was restored to strength, and the Egyptians fled against the water, but God overturned them in the midst of the sea (verse 27). And the water flowed again, covering the chariots and horsemen, and the army of Pharaoh, who followed Israel into the sea, was destroyed at dawn, leaving no one left (verse 28). On the other hand, the children of Israel walked on the sea like land, with the sea on its left and right like walls (verse 29).
At that time, the dry land formed in the middle of the sea must have been at least 1,500 meters wide so that about 2 million people and all kinds of animals could safely cross it in one night. Through such a wonderful work, Israel was saved and the Egyptian army was annihilated (verse 30). According to historians, Amenhotep II, king of Egypt at the time, did not die. This is because there is a record of his reign after the Red Sea incident. However, many of the Egyptian soldiers who were pursuing them all died. Seeing such an amazing work, the people believed in God and Moses the servant of God (verse 31).
< Take the front seat >
Sometimes amazing miracles strengthen your faith, but miracles do not necessarily lead to correct faith. Just look at how the Israelites resented the amazing and majestic miracle of the parting of the Red Sea, which millions of people had witnessed a few days ago, but they quickly resented it in a few days because they went into the wilderness and became difficult. So, don't be too miraculous, and don't be confident in your own faith. Just be humble and try to be obedient every day.
In many cases, life's crises are given because they say they obey the Word, but in God's eyes, they do not live according to the Word. Now, in any case, do not even think that your faith is the best, but always take the lead in the place where you take up the cross and dedicate yourself. For those who take the lead in the word, prayer, and devotion, God will significantly increase the possibility of the blessing of becoming the head rather than the tail.
One of the world's richest men of the 20th century, Rockefeller was a bloodless and tearful entrepreneur before his transformation. However, in his 50s, he fell ill with a fatal disease, but he repented and changed to become the greatest philanthropist. And while helping to build dozens of universities and 4,000 churches, he did not allow his name to be written on even one floor of the university or church. He was able to lead such a blessed life because he had an attitude that could lead anywhere.
As a child, his mother taught him to worship in front of the preacher, where he could always see him. ?쏳ockefeller! Everything else can be surrendered. You can give up your business, you can give up your pride and honor, but don't give up your seat of favor!" According to Christian psychologists, sitting in front of a church significantly reduces depression, brightens personality, and increases self-confidence. There are times in life when difficulties arise. At that time, come to the front more and receive abundant grace, overcome the crisis well, and become the blessed spirits of victory.
