Let's go to perfection
We are already renewed in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
However, even if we become new in this way, it is easy to find that the new appearance becomes the old as the years go by.
If faith is not renewed every day, it becomes old.
Therefore, the faith should be improved day by day.
verse 1
Verse 2 says you must go to perfection.
Throwing away a beginner is -
Hebrews 5:13-14 For everyone who drinks milk is a child.
who have not experienced the word of righteousness; hard plants
They belong to the mature, for we use our senses.
Those who have been tried to discern good and evil.
Those who suckle are called infants,
He said that hard plants belong to mature adults, and that adults are those who discern good and evil.
Therefore, the words that follow chapter 6 after these words are C.
This conjunction makes the following statement based on the previous one.
After all, the faith of a child is the faith of a beginner, and the faith of an adult is the faith that progresses toward perfection. So you have to grow.
So, looking at the words of verse 1, we cast aside the basics of the Christian way,
Here, to throw away the beginner does not mean to give up or ignore the elementary way with an intransitive, but to get up from there and make progress.
This means that you should leave the basic training and do more mature training to improve your skills to enter the real world.
☞ Then, what is the beginning of the way of Christ?
Repentance, faith, baptism, laying on of hands, resurrection, and judgment.
First, with two inner experiences - repentance and faith.
1) Repentance/ means turning away from a wrong life.
Repentance in the deeds of the dead/ Repentance from deeds that brought about death in the past before believing in Jesus.
This was an unclean deed, an act of being hostile to Jesus.
