Title - The Bible Leading the Way to Peace

Since ancient times, people have accompanied guides who are familiar with the geography and environment of the place when they go to an unfamiliar place or explore a remote place. Because a competent guide will help you reach your destination safely and effectively.

Wouldn't it be great if we had a guide like that in our lives? That is why people struggle to find guides and guides who can help us overcome and solve the unfortunate problems of our lives. Read books, consult with experienced or experts, and even look for fortune tellers and shamans.

But there is no guide to a perfect and eternal life here.

This is because they cannot provide a complete solution to the fundamental problems of life, such as death, sin, disease, and anxiety. However, the Word of our God, the Bible, which is a revelation from heaven, is a guide for us to live an eternal and blessed life. Let's take a look at it together.

Foreshadowing - the secret of ability

In June 1837 there was a girl who became Queen of England at the age of 18.

How did the girl react when she first heard the news that she had become queen at a young age?

According to the record, she was the first to pray.

She immediately knelt and prayed earnestly that God would guide England and help her.

This girl is Queen Victoria, who ruled the British Empire for 64 years.

England developed remarkably during this period.

At this time, an economic leap forward and a parliamentary democracy system were achieved through the Industrial Revolution.

In particular, a culture that emphasizes morality and etiquette has spread.

Queen Victoria was a symbol of such glory.

One day, when an Indian prince met Queen Victoria, he said, “What is the secret to a prosperous England?

Where does that power come from?” he asked.

The smiling queen picked up a book that had been lying on the table.

“This is the secret.” That book was the Bible.

1. Helps overcome false desires and foolishness

The Bible is a guide that guides us on the path of eternal peace.

Our life is a series of anxiety. Personal problems, family problems, and social and political problems leave little room for peace of mind.

That is why, day by day, people try to achieve peace of mind and body.

Relying on alcohol and music, finding ways to hypnotize mind and body and practice. They depend on money, reason and friendship.

But these are all temporary and do not give complete peace and peace. Because they did not solve the problem of the soul that humans have on their own.

They cannot find peace because of their distrust of God, greed for material things, and the folly of worshiping the world as idols, and they continue to live insecure lives.

Therefore, the Bible enlightens us about such false desires and folly, and enables us to find true peace by helping us possess a right soul.

Because it reveals the consequences of all dirty greed and folly, and teaches that the only way to find peace is to live and serve God according to the Word of God.

Yehwa - Romance if I do it, adultery if someone else does it

Examples found in churches.

It is because it is ungodly to carry a bible the size of someone else's hand, and the reason I carry a small bible is because I am an active believer.

The reason others can't come to the morning prayer is because I'm lazy, and the reason I can't come to the morning prayer is because there are so many social activities.

When others pray with tears, it is unusual faith, and I pray with tears because of earnest heart. If someone else prays for a long time, it is because there is no reason to pray.

When others pray, “Give me,” it is ups and downs, and when I pray, “Lord,” I pray because I believe in the promises of the Bible.

It is because other people are stingy when it comes to giving less, and the reason why I give less is because God praised the widow's two coins (Luke 21:2-4).

If others compromise, it's arrogance; if I compromise, it's concession.

If others do not keep Sunday to attend a relative's wedding, it is because faith has not grown, and the reason I cannot keep Sunday is for the sake of family peace.

The reason that others do not attend worship is because of lack of faith, and the reason I miss worship is because of the mature belief that 'God is everywhere'.

If someone is late for the service, 'leave 5 minutes early.' When I'm late, I say, 'The sermon is important...

When someone else gets a position in the church, they say, “Already?” When I get the job, I say, “Now… ”

When someone moves into a spacious house, ‘Jesus had nowhere to lay his head…’ (Matthew 8:20). If I move into a larger house, “I will enlarge your borders” (Exodus 34:24).

It's because it's a luxury to wear makeup when others come to church, and it's not the minimum etiquette to put on makeup when I go to church.

When others doze off during worship, I am reminded of the saying, “Get up and pray, so that you may not fall into temptation” (Luke 22:46), and when I doze off, “The Lord gives sleep to those he loves” (Psalm 127:2). Reminds me.

2. Gives Eternal Comfort and Hope

Human anxiety is not solely due to internal problems.

Humans are also disturbed by external influences and environments.

Because of the estrangement in human relationships, changes in the environment, or sickness, disaster, and disaster, we are often discouraged, saddened, and disappointed.

The Bible gives appropriate comfort, solutions, and hope to the various problems that humans face.

Richard Baxter said:

"He who is impatient, sit quietly and read the book of Job, and the weak, see Elijah. He who has no song in his heart reads David's psalms, he who is in disappointment and despair reads Isaiah; Let him not forget the book of James, and he who has no hope for the future, let him know the promised land by Revelation."

The Bible helps us to overcome the problems we face with eternal comfort and hope by reaffirming God's unchanging love and the covenant of eternal life in all the uncertain situations we face.

The Bible is not only a guide that guides an individual's life on a blessed path, but also the best guide of mankind, who guides the destiny of peoples, nations, and the world.

That fact is evidenced by the history of Israel, the history of America made up of the Puritans, and the history of the Church.

The saints should always rely on and obey the words of the Bible, realizing that the guide to a great and eternal life is right by my side.
