The Church of the Praise Philadelphia
Title: The Church of the Praise Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7-13)
In the history of the church, all seven churches were praised and rebuked, but this Philadelphia church alone is a church without reproof and has received the greatest praise from the Lord. There is a reason why among the seven churches, they received the most praise without the Lord's rebuke.
Gentlemen, our total wealth is faith. The devil knows best how much faith we have. No money, no pickpockets. Without faith, there is no need for the devil to follow you. Do you have great faith? Keep your faith as strong as you can. Do you have little faith? Then pray for faith. After the foundation of your faith is robbed, no matter how much you want to believe, you will not believe and die.
And if you are to be crowned by faith, it is not. We are saved by faith, and we are crowned by faithful service. That is why, believing in Jesus and being faithful while you are young, that faith is precious. It's about holding on to it.
Therefore, the phrase "he who overcomes will become a pillar in the temple of God" means to be used as an indispensable worker in the church of God. It is a privilege given to the 'overcomer' for a believer to become such a being in the church.
Beloved, when we study the eschatology of the book of Revelation, most people are concerned with 'when is that?' But what should be our concern is more about when the Lord comes, rather than when the Lord comes. In that regard, this Philadelphia church sets an example for us. They are not only exemplary, but also a strong church. In other words, they are a spiritual church. He kept the word and did not betray the name of the Lord under any circumstances. He opened his heart and responded to the small voice of the Holy Spirit with ears to hear.
I pray in the name of the Lord that we do our best to keep the Word even with little power within us and not betray the Lord in our weekly life.
