Introduction
The world we live in is a world ruled by power.
There are many things in this world that give us power.
Power sometimes wields power over us.
Position, money, knowledge...
Also, an invisible evil spirit is at work.
There are many other things besides these, but all of these are temporary and limited.
These hardships sometimes bring us joy, but sometimes they bring us pain and sorrow.
I think the life of the people of the world is to live with power, sometimes laughing and sometimes crying.
But there is absolute power.
You have the power to rule and govern all these forces.
This absolute power is the power that is with us.
// // This is the power that created the heavens and the earth.
// // // The power to bring the dead back to life.
// Calling out things that do not exist as if they exist.
This // power is rich in glory.
// In verse 16, it is the power that strengthens our inner man with power through the Holy Spirit.
// It is the power that makes Christ dwell in us through faith.
// This is the power that enables us to know the depth and breadth of the overflowing love of Christ.
// This is the power to overflow our prayers and thoughts.
God, who has this amazing power, works in us with power.
“Among us” means in me, in us, with us.
Please believe that the absolute power of God dwells in me, is with us, and is with our Ark Church.
What is the absolute power of God doing among us?
1. It is the ability to grant what we ask for and to make it more abundant.
20 According to the power that is at work in us, whatever we ask,
To him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly than he thinks
“to overflow” - abundant, many, passing, plentiful..
One of the most emphasized teachings of Jesus in the Gospel on the Mount is prayer.
Matthew 6:1-18 The hypocrites' prayer, the Lord's prayer, the fasting prayer,
Matthew 6:33 Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these
will add to you
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find
knock on the door and it will be opened to you
Matthew 7:8 Everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and who knocks
will be opened to him
Matthew 7:11 If you, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more
your Father in heaven gives good things to those who ask
won't you
He taught us to pray by giving examples of the unjust judge and the widow's plea. This is because there is a God who will fill us more than we prayed for.
In 1 Kings 3, Solomon's prayer is clearly shown.
After Solonmon became king, the night he offered a thousand burnt offerings to God, God appeared to him in a dream and said, 'Ask what do you want me to do for you? May God grant you wisdom to discern between good and evil, so that you may rule this people well.
Since you sought wisdom for yourself, not for strength or wealth or for your enemies to perish, I give you wisdom, and I also give you riches and glory, and there will be no one like you in your lifetime.
I believe that God, who gave more than Solomon asked for, will give more than what we ask for, unless the things we ask for are not for the lusts of the flesh.
2. It is God's power to overflow more than we think.
“Thinking” - Recognize with the heart. Realize. Understand.
Hebrews 4:12 - “The word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, the crown and the marrow, and discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
No matter what we think, plan, or have in the Lord, God knows everything and blesses us abundantly.
For example, a certain member of the church decided to evangelize the person living next door. Because I am thinking of evangelizing, I become interested, and because I am interested, God makes me pray for him, and when I pray, I have a heart to love, and a heart to love, so I want to give something... so that I can evangelize to that person. Giving you everything you need. When you evangelize that person, not only that person but also your family come to God together.
Because the district manager thinks that he has to work hard in the district, the way he sees the district family changes.
I pray for those who are hungry, and when I pray, I can see that hate turns into love and anger is revitalized.
There is a saying in the proverb that ‘whatever happens depends on what you set your mind to’.
Do you have negative thoughts about the church?
What are you critical of?
Change your mind, then I will be the first to be graced.
We have God. There is a God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly than we think.
3. May the glory of God be forever and ever from generation to generation (21).
21 Glory in the church and in Christ Jesus from generation to generation
I wish you all the best Amen
The God who gives us abounding from what we ask and think is glorified in Christ.
God has been glorified through Jesus from generation to generation and for ever and ever, by giving us more than what Jesus asked for and what Jesus thought.
Jaejae Lee must be glorified in the church.
Through me and the women, God must receive the glory from generation to generation. God, who was glorified through Jesus, must be glorified through our Ark Church from generation to generation forever and ever.
concluding remarks
There are two ways for our Ark Church to glorify God.
The first is prayer.
First, it is possible when we pray for the kingdom of God and His righteousness. When prayers for the church are fulfilled rather than my personal prayers, I receive glory through the church. God is glorified when things are done centered on the church.
The second is thinking.
You should be able to think about God and His righteousness before thinking about family, business, and other things.
God cannot be glorified if our thoughts for ourselves take precedence over God, our thoughts for our family, and the church that the Lord bought with His blood.
If our prayers and thoughts take precedence over our thoughts for God and the church, God will be glorified from generation to generation and eternally and eternally, and blessings will overflow beyond our prayers and thoughts.
