Title: God Who Fulfills His Word Text: Joshua 21:43-45
As God commanded, the Israelites conquered the land of Canaan and the work of distributing the conquered land was also graciously completed. And I accomplished everything I needed to serve God. He is declaring that after entrusting the city of refuge and the city where the tribe of Levi will live, and after entrusting them with all their duties, He has fulfilled all the works. The Israelites are confessing to the world that no matter how well they fought and conquered Canaan, they could not achieve anything without God's help. Here we discover a fact that is both obvious and easy to forget. It is the fact that it is Jehovah God who makes things happen.
1. God is the God who fulfills all the promises.
2. The God who brings true rest.
Third, learn from the Lord. This is to learn the truth that only the Lord can give. If we learn the heart of the Lord and learn the love of the Lord, we can find true rest. It means to be like the Lord.
3. The God who conquers the enemy to achieve victory.
Joshua 21:44 God helped Israel achieve victory over everything that stood in its way. Who is the enemy standing in the way of Israel? The first was Pharaoh, king of Egypt. Egypt is the largest empire in ancient times. The country that created the pyramids, one of the seven wonders of the world. The second was the Amalekites. The Amalekites are the princes of the desert. They are the most cruel and courageous people. The third were the 7 tribes of Canaan. Neither one was difficult. But God helped them achieve victory over poor Israel. Israel is a poor people, but God can overcome anything. It's not about who you are, it's about whether God helps you. It's not about what you fight with, it's about who's holding him. It is not a matter of how big an obstacle is, but whether we rely on Almighty God. All problems in the world before God are like candles before the wind. May all of us humbly obey God, who makes it come true, and receive the blessing that our wishes will come true.
