God who embraces (Isaiah 40:9-11)
Children who were born, loved and warmly raised by their mothers, and children who grew up without knowing them
There are differences in personality and intelligence.
Those who live without knowing their parents, loved ones, and God's arms are unhappy people.
We must preach the gospel to such people.
The warmth, coziness, and comfort of that bosom (verse 11), the beautiful news (good news, victory news, salvation news,
news of joy) (verse 9). God who has
1. He embraces the universe.
“The land was formless and empty, and darkness was over the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the waters” (Genesis 1:2).
The word “drive” means “to incubate”, and the mother bird yearns for the birth of a new life.
It has the meaning of being embraced by God, just like an egg is carefully embraced.
2. He embraces his chosen people.
Jesus said to Jerusalem on the verge of destruction, “As a hen gathers her young under her wings.
How many times have I tried to gather your children together” (Matthew 23:37).
God embraced the nation of Israel.
3. God embraces those who love him.
God gives grace and mercy to those who show him (Exodus 33:19), and those who love the Lord
He loves you (Proverbs 8:17, John 14:21). Also, those whom the Lord loves (John 13:23, John 21:20)
you had
Those who receive God’s love are “a person of comfort” (verses 1-2), “a person who opens the door to evangelism” (verses 3-5),
“People who preach the word of God” (verses 6-8) and “people who are governed by God” (verses 9-11).
4. He embraces the saints as pure as lambs.
Lamb (tera) means ‘to wrap’ and it means something that is kind, pure and soft enough to be wrapped around.
You must become a Lamb that God can embrace.
And also, you have to become a mature minister who can embrace someone.
In order to be used as God's ministers to comfort and level the weak (verses 1-9),
1) We must have the heart of Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:5-8).
A humble heart to humble oneself, a humble heart to empty oneself, a heart to obey the word of God,
It is a heart that sacrifices out of love.
2) We must have hope (Zechariah 9:12)
By the grace of the Holy Spirit, which will be poured out in the last days, children will have a future (vision), young people will have a vision,
Old people should have dreams (Joel 2:28).
3) We must have zeal (Romans 12:11, Revelation 3:15)
You need to throw away the potty and restore your first enthusiasm.
4) We must embrace God like the moon that embraces the sun (Proverbs 4:8, Song of Songs 8:6, 2 Corinthians 12:7)
If you embrace the sun, it may burn out.
But like the moon that embraces the sun and illuminates the dark night sky, we must embrace God and shine a light on the world.
