Title: God Who Protects
The conclusion of Deuteronomy can be summed up in two parts.
It describes who God is, and one is the blessing of each tribe before Moses died. The God that the text speaks of is, in a word, the God who protects. Let's take a closer look at God's protection.
In the harsh environment and crisis, God alone protects us. Verse 10
The wilderness through which the Israelites passed was a difficult place for people to live or pass through. The text calls it "a wasteland, a wilderness where the beast roars."
It is true that the environment determines a person's attitude to life, but it is not an absolute factor. There are cases where the environment is good, but things go wrong or go wrong.
There are people who blame the poor environment and leave the Lord and live their own life.
Because the environment is difficult, there are people who draw closer to the Lord and keep their faith strong.
Why does God protect me?
Deuteronomy 32:9 says, "The portion of the LORD is his people, and Jacob is his chosen inheritance."
This is because they are God's own chosen people.
Another reason God keeps Israel is because of the covenant.
He promised, "I will protect you, I will love you, I will guide you, and I will save you." Because God is a faithful God, he never breaks his promise. There is another reason. It's because I love you.
Love transcends and covers all conditions and limitations, weaknesses and faults.
A person who breaks a promise is difficult to be treated and difficult to be forgiven.
But love transcends everything. And to be forgiven, tolerant, and supported. Israel broke its promise. But because of love, I was forgiven and protected.
How does God protect you?
Verse 10 * Meet me- God came to me and found me.
* Escort, protect, protect you from the armies of Pharaoh in Egypt, protect you from the Philistines and Amalekites, and protect you from the dangers of wild beasts from the heat and extreme cold.
* He guarded it like the pupil of his eye.
It is said that the nervous system, brain judgment, and pupil are the fastest moving parts of the human body. God protects us as He protects His eyes.
Verse 11 - As an eagle disturbs its nest, flutters over its young, spreads out its wings to catch them, and carries them on its wings.
An eagle training method is introduced in one short passage. It is the harsh training that makes the eagle the king of birds. God trained Israel in that way, and he is training us today.
12 The LORD alone led him, and there was no other god with him.
Only Jehovah is our savior, the God who protects and guides us.
