grace received abundantly
I saw on the news yesterday.. Out of 30 OECD countries, the happiness index is 25th. But for a while, there was a broadcast on TV showing the situation of the country where he went to medical service. Those people have nothing to eat, so children are dying countless times, and the children who appeared on the show are also two years old and they are in a worse situation than a newborn child. It weighs about 1.7 kilos, and when a person is born, it weighs over 3 kilos. Such children are the majority of the village. Seeing this, I thought that living here is happiness. I felt like it was a great blessing to be able to breathe so well right now.
Today's message is the blessing Solomon received. I want to meditate on these words because I want to share the grace that he has received. When we think about blessings, the first thing we think about is not how important the environment is, but to realize that believing in God is a blessing in itself.
1. Jesus is a blessing. Happiness.
The wealthiest people often refer to the rich and wealthy. The person who lives best in our village said that the person who had the most money in our village was the person who lived the best. The richest person in the world right now is, without question, Bill Gates. We don't know how much Bill Gates, who runs Microsoft, is worth. You seem really rich.
Who is the richest person in the world? The Bible doesn't say that. Also, looking at history, this is not the case. There are many things about who is the best person to live, but we believers are the ones who live the best life and live the best life for those who believe in Jesus with the same heart and the same heart. The person who lives the most successful life in this world is the one who lives the most until the end. We are seeing people who have trusted Jesus well through faith. There is nothing as precious as believing in Jesus. In a way, this is God's great grace. It's a big blessing. How long do we live in this world and how much do we have? Money is not a bad thing.
So we say that money is precious, but Jesus is more precious than money. A life with Jesus above is a wonderful life. We must put Jesus above knowledge, Jesus above the goal I have set for our all human success and happiness, and Jesus above. Money is precious.
You don't need money, you don't need money, what's important about money, isn't it? Money is what you really cannot without money until the day you grow old and die. But we, believers, are not saying that money is the number one thing. Above all, Jesus is the best. Problems always arise when money is paramount. side effects will come. When Jesus is the best, there is all order and all inconsistencies disappear, but money is the best. Whenever these things are put first, it is always a problem for individuals, families, and society. We believe that we need to set this goal and reach it as people who believe in Jesus well until the end of our lives.
Even if I believed late, I believed with enthusiasm. He's a good believer. So it's a good buy. People who have lived well are people who have trusted well.
How should we live, we must go to Jesus. Where is the truth, we need to find him. The way to live, life, who solves our nation's problems, must go to Christ. If you go to a hotel, each tall building will tell you the direction for 24 hours, day or night, whether the emergency exit has electricity or not. In times of crisis, the way to go, the passage indicates the direction to go there.
The way for all mankind to live, the emergency exit to the whole world is our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no way in any country apart from Christ. Even if you go to America, the emergency exit is Christ. Even if we go to England, Christ is our escape route. Only the Lord gives us peace, only the Lord gives us freedom, and only the Lord gives us life. That is why we must believe in Jesus. I believe that it should be the life of Immanuel, who is the eternal king of kings, who is eternally wealthy, who rules over all things in the universe, becomes his people, his beloved, serves him as his savior, and lives with him.
2. God is pleased with the life of seeking God first.
Solomon ran to God when he became king. This is a great belief. Solomon's progress is a great thing. He went when he became king. This is the greatness of Solomon. Is it easy for a person to approach God when the environment is good? Or is it easy to approach God in difficult times? Common sense is that it is easy to approach God when the environment is good. But in reality, this is not the case.
When things get difficult, God comes to you.
When you are afraid, God comes to you.
If everything goes well, God will not come. I have nothing to regret. But how do you find God?
How do you come to God when you are so busy living your life?
Such is a person. Get cancer right now.
My business is on the verge of bankruptcy right now. Early morning prayers will come out hard. Worship will follow. People with good faith always come to God, but the weaker their faith, the more busy they are.
Why is Solomon's faith so great? It is great to be a king and remember God when you lack nothing.
3. If you move God, you will be blessed.
?쏶eek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness,??he said in Matthew 6:33. Then he said that all these things will be added to you.
Solomon's impression today is that he did not seek his own. And I saved God's things.
"With all my heart" by Joo Sook-il, with all my heart and with all my heart
Love Jehovah with all your might
Keep in mind the commandments I gave you
Diligently and diligently tell your neighbors
Then I will give you a great house that you did not build.
I will make you eat the fruit you have not planted.
But don't forget one thing
The Lord who saved us sinners
Solomon moved God. Then, just as God said, ?쏛ll these things will be added to you,??he received the overflowing grace of giving even things he did not ask Solomon. May God impress you. We believe that God will give us things we did not ask for.
I bless our butler. No, we all hope so.
I don't know how hard and difficult it was when I first came to Nonsan. But I can see that God is raising the butler. I believe in moving God.
4. Look to God.
Solomon looked to the covenant of God in the days of his father David. So I looked to God. That is why I was able to go to God, ask for it, and receive blessings.
Wasn't Solomon tempted by the splendor that was right in front of him? Wouldn't it be tempting to play fun? Because he looked to God, it was the first thing he looked at.
Martin Lloyd-Jones, the greatest expository preacher of the 20th century, described ?쁧oy??as follows: ?쏷here are two joys in this world. One is direct joy and the other is indirect joy.??But he says all direct pleasure is fake. True joy is that which is obtained indirectly. There are things you can do yourself to gain joy. Doing drugs, cheating, or stealing. But the joy in this case is only temporary. After that comes more pain.
So, what is true joy?
The energy of the dawning dawn greeted by praying all night before God,
Tears of gratitude shed on the last day of the mission,
This is the true joy that comes from giving money to God and serving with the body. After all, it is the essence of joy to strengthen the roots and obtain fruit.
We should not ask God, ?쏥ive me pleasure, give me money,??but stand as missionaries. When we become God's loyal servants, God gives everything else as a bonus. Solomon is the main character who lived such a life.
