Healing Ray (Malachi 4: 1 - 3)
Our members are now hospitalized. Although it is not a hospital, there are many people who are suffering from illness at home. Also, there are people who have to go to the hospital for frequent check-ups and live on medication every day.
While these sick patients are thinking and praying, I am declaring these words with the hope that a ray of healing will arise for the physically and mentally sick as well. I hope that there will be complete healing through the word of God given today.
There are many people who suffer from pain because they are sick because of the disease. Some cry because it hurts so much, and some moan. It is so painful that I sometimes live on painkillers.
The pain is non-stop from head to toe. That is why, like Elijah, under the rosemary tree, we pray, 'God, take my life'.
This is God's word to us in the midst of such suffering.
Today's reading is the last book of the Old Testament, the book of Malachi.
The book of Malachi tells us that the people of Israel returned from captivity and thought that they would live well now, but life is difficult. Then the Israelites complained about God and offered sacrifices to God, so why are they giving them such difficulties? Then the prophet Malachi proclaimed today's message to the people of Israel.
They say that they have served God well, but what and how they have served God well.
Is it said that they served God by bringing an offering to God? Looking at the sacrifices brought, do they say that they brought sick things and cheap goods to serve God? God does not directly eat the sacrifices, but it says that devotion to the sacrifices offered to God is important. If you do not love God with your heart, and worship formally, you are not pleased with God. And
Declaring judgment, 'There are grumblings and complaints at this level of difficulty now, but you will soon perish.' On the other hand, it is saying that amazing power will be revealed to those who truly fear God. It is said that the light of healing will come to the person receiving grace, and he will enjoy complete joy.
1. God's Judgment
1) Who has God's judgment?
It is for the proud, and for those who do evil.
We must be humble before God, not boasting or arrogant.
Those who do evil are those who forsake the Word of God and do what God forbids them to do.
2) What kind of judgment is there?
① You will be like a scourge in a fiery furnace.
If the grass is put on a hot fire, it will burn out and disappear. God's judgment is so terrible.
② It will not leave roots and branches.
It is very difficult to escape God's judgment. It is a judgment not only on the leaves, but on the roots and branches as a whole, and it is an inevitable judgment
③ It will be like ashes under the soles of the feet.
The result of judgment is that you will be like ashes being trampled on the soles of your feet. It will turn into a useless, trampled being.
2. God's Blessing
1) Who will be blessed with?
I come to those who fear my name.
Those who fear God are those who serve God, praise God, and do what pleases God. Those who obey the word of God. Those who are saved by accepting Jesus as the Christ, and those who are called righteous through Jesus. It is our saints.
2) How are you doing?
The sun of righteousness rises, emitting a healing beam.
* Sun: There is a story that Europeans enjoy sunbathing like that because the sun does not rise for about 50 days a year. This means that your skin is healthy and your body is also healthy. Also, the sun is absolutely essential for the crop to be plentiful.
Here the righteous year must be viewed as the Messiah, Jesus Christ, rather than the sun itself. Healing works through Jesus Christ appear.
Jesus healed the paralytic, the blind, the demon-possessed, and the sick. Jesus was with the brokenhearted and suffering sinners and ate with them.
4) What is the result of the blessing?
Running like a calf from the stall.
It is a great blessing to be able to run freely for people who cannot stand up or move because of pain. Please believe that being able to worship with the church and to be able to live to your heart's content is a blessing from God.
"If you will obey the word of the LORD your God, do what is right in my sight, and obey my commandments and keep all my ordinances, I will not bring upon you one of all the diseases that I have brought upon the Egyptians. I am.” Exodus 15:26
