The Holy Spirit who gives wisdom (Daniel 5:13-19)

*** Bryan Russell in "Living as a Good Steward"
We have 87 members in our church. Of these, 27 are out of the country for military service or college admission, so only 60 will work. Of those 60, 25 are elderly, sick or otherwise unable to work, leaving only 35 people to work.
However, since 15 of them have already said that they have done their part, only 20 are left who will shoulder the work of the Lord.
Of those 20, 15 are so engrossed in their work, home or hobbies that only 5 will be held accountable.
Three of them think they have no gifts or talents.
So, in the end, two people have to do everything, and that's me and you, brothers. So won't you get up and give it a try? asks.
First, who is Daniel? (Daniel 5:13)
“When Daniel came before the king, the king asked Daniel. “Are you that Daniel, one of the captives my father brought from Judah?”
1, Daniel was a prisoner.
2, I was filled with the Spirit of God.
1), refused the sacrament of delicacies offered to idols.
2), I continued my prayer life toward the Jerusalem temple every day.
3), maintained a state of pious and pure faith in God.
4), those who have received learning, talent, and understanding.
*** From Donald Crayville's <Money, Church, Power and the Kingdom of God>
If you have some wealth, you lose the place of God in the pride that you can secure your own life.
You know that money is everything. I believe that money can buy not only things, but people's hearts as they please.
So, those who have a lot of wealth tend to stop believing in God.
To be honest, even if you believe in God, I don't think you have much to expect from God.
Because they believe that they can do almost anything with the power of money.
Second, the king's promise and Daniel's polite rejection (Daniel 5:14~16)
“I have heard your story. I have heard that you have the spirit of the gods, and that you have understanding, understanding, and superior wisdom. 15. I brought the wise men and the magicians here and told them to read this letter and find out its meaning before me, but they could not explain to me the meaning of this letter. 16. But I have heard that you can interpret letters and solve difficult problems. Now, if you read this letter and explain what it means to me, I will put you in a purple robe, put a gold necklace around your neck, and make you the third ruler in this country.”
1, the king's question
1), do you have the spirit of the gods in you?
2), Do you have any wisdom?
3), can you interpret this article?
2, the king's promise
1), Wear purple clothes: Purple clothes are mostly colored clothes worn by royalty or high-ranking people. This garment also shows the dignity of a king. (ascent of status)
2), Third, Ruler: It means ruler and official. In the text, King Belshazzar not only inflicts serious injuries if he interprets Daniel's writings on the wall, but also promises to make him the third ruler of Babylon.
*** Harvard University Graduate School of Business has selected 11 small and medium-sized enterprises around the world that do global business. Of course, it was bought from another country, but it is MCM. This is the story of the company's president, Kim Seong-ju, who is a good Christian.
He said:
“I think there are two ways to contribute to a company or society. One is material contributions such as donations. The other is to provide your own time and energy. As a major shareholder of a group, I always give back 10% of my net profit to society. Personally, not about 1/10, but 3/10, sometimes 5/10.
That's my choice. “I feel more happiness from these activities than the satisfaction I get from buying a nice mansion or a Ferrari.”
Third, Daniel's wise interpretation (Daniel 5:17-19)
“Daniel said before the king. "Please take away the gift that the king will give you, and give the king's reward to someone else. Even so, I will read this letter and explain its meaning to the king. 18. O King, the Most High God is your He gave his father King Nebuchadnezzar a kingdom, great authority, glory, and majesty. You saved people, you exalted them at will, and you humbled them at will.”
