Title: The Key to Problem Solving
Bible: Luke 5:18-26
Starting Point of the Word>>
There is no such thing as a life without problems.
There are problems in the family, problems in society, and problems in the country.
The same is true in education, in economics, and in politics.
Even if you become a member of the National Assembly, become a minister, and become the president, there are still problems.
Problems can be a headache for each person in life.
We all have problems, big or small.
The text introduces a poor paralytic.
I know the content all too well.
His address is Capernaum, but his name is not revealed and his identity is not disclosed.
But what is certain is that he has a problem.
The problem is that leaving it as is will only make it a bigger problem.
Shouldn't the problem be solved?
Because of this, the sick man probably struggled with paralysis for years, seeking a way out.
You must have tried all the good medicines and met a lot of doctors who said they were intriguing.
His family was also anxious for him, and his fortune must have been reduced to some extent.
But hope fell like the fallen leaves of an autumn tree.
Whatever it is, the whole family is suffering in the midst of anxiety, worry, and pain.
How to cure this disease?
This was the paralytic's problem.
This is the content of the problem introduced by the text of the text.
Padlocks and keys are inextricably linked.
The lock cannot be opened without a key.
But what is the problem with the lock in the text?
It is a paralytic disease.
So, what is the key to the text?
Faith.
If we look at verse 20,
He said, “Look at my faith,” which means that faith is the key to solving the problem.
Today, we too must have various problems in our lives, so I hope this will be a precious time for you to find the key to solving problems through today's Word.
Go to Word>>
If so, what would be the key to solving the problem presented through this paralytic today?
First, committed faith
We all live by faith, but I hope you will learn this faith again this time.
One very important question is posed in the text.
Who will bring the paralytic here to Jesus?
In other words, who will bring the paralytic life to Jesus?
If we look at verse 18,
“People brought a paralyzed man on a bed to bring him before Jesus.”
Said.
As for who brought the paralytic to Jesus, the text said it was just people.
So, they are anonymous people.
Nevertheless, it is clear that these people are believers and dedicated people.
Maybe it's all of us.
Here is one key to solving the problem.
Dedicated faith.
We should all have this belief.
Even now, Jesus is looking for dedicated people.
It means that in the church, on this earth, in search of dedicated people, Jesus is pleased to heal the paralytic on this earth.
Who will take the paralytic life to Jesus?
This is the task of each church, and it is the mission given to all the saints, that is, to all of us.
In other words, it is a task entrusted to each and every one of us, and it is our duty to do it.
However, this devoted faith can manifest itself in three ways:
The first is faith with love.
No one looked at the poor paralytic, no one showed sympathy.
No one caressed with the hand of love.
It is like the parable of the good Samaritan in Luke 10.
The man who met the robber is thirsty for love's hand, but they all escaped and passed by.
The priest passed by, and the Levite also escaped.
However, there is a story about an unknown person, a Samaritan, who showed love.
The same is true in the church.
A place where a few loving people gather in one place should be a church.
The following beliefs are co-operative beliefs.
Without the cooperation of the saints, the church cannot be established.
So in the Bible
“We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
These unknown people who brought the paralyzed man today can also be seen working together for good.
And this faith is a faith with patience.
They did not travel long distances, sweating profusely, and brought the paralyzed man to Jesus.
But in verse 19, an obstacle arose.
They were unable to bring him to Jesus because of the crowd.
I made a plan and already started to start, but now I have no choice but to give up.
But they endured all difficulties and persevered.
It means that we must have faith with patience.
Today, when these people have devoted faith, there was the amazing power and work of the Lord.
In the name of the Lord, I ask that all of our members be filled with this kind of devoted faith.
Second, active belief
Example>>
Napoleon is about to cross the Alps.
So I sent a soldier ahead of time to check the situation.
A soldier who has been there reports, 'I can get over it.
But there is something Napoleon said when he was about to talk about difficulties.
“No more” means “Stop it.”
that it can be exceeded.
Being active and being passive is the difference between heaven and earth.
It is the key to success or failure.
What faith brought the paralytic to Jesus?
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
That is their belief.
This belief is their active belief.
Three things are introduced in this verse.
One is active thinking.
In the English Bible, I can do. Said.
It is equivalent to 'I can do it'.
The thinking we all need to learn in the church is the 'can do' thinking.
On the other hand, there are those who cannot do it.
We must rule out this accident.
When the ten spies were sent before the conquest of Canaan, what about the eight?
Compared to them, they were like grasshoppers.
But Joshua and Caleb said, “They are our bread.”
The result is that they become rice as they say.
Here are some active actions.
In the English Bible, I can do.
It is equivalent to 'I can do it'.
God is the one who performs great miracles.
However, he is not the one who does even the things that we believers are capable of doing.
Looking at Moses, it was impossible to cross the Red Sea in front of Pharaoh who was pursuing him.
But there was work to be done.
Seeing his aggressive behavior, he held out his staff in front of the Red Sea.
What is this cane? It is a stick of active action.
Then the Red Sea made a great road so that the Israelites could cross.
Lastly, we depend on the Lord who is our strength and strength.
Jesus is our strength and our strength.
If you go to a hotel, you may accidentally lock the door.
Then, if you talk to the front desk, there is something called a master key.
Take the key and open it.
With that key, you can open every room in the hotel.
Who is Jesus? It is a master key in a spiritual sense.
Jesus is the key to solving all problems.
Third, adventurous faith
They took the paralytic to the doorstep where Jesus was.
But I can't go any further.
Because there are so many people that there is no room for bravery.
The road is closed and you have to go back.
But they were not discouraged.
The text records their adventurous faith in crisis.
If we look at the words of verse 19,
“Because there was no way to carry them in because of the crowd, they went up to the roof, removed the tiles, and lowered the sick person on a bed into the middle of the crowd before Jesus.”
I did.
From this verse, we must remember,
The first is that they climbed onto the roof.
What about the roof of those who brought the paralytic to Jesus? Isn't that a bit too adventurous? Isn't that something you never imagined?
Here the roof leaves us a spiritual lesson.
The roof is high.
The sky is higher than the roof.
The life of faith is a life that ascends toward a high place.
Zacchaeus was unable to meet Jesus, so he climbed up the sycamore tree.
They too had to go up on the roof to meet Jesus.
Now, we too have to get up and go up to a higher place, instead of sitting down.
Next, the tiles were removed.
They began to remove the tiles to send the sick to the Lord.
It is to break down the wall between them and the Lord.
This time of worship we give to God is a time to remove the tiles that stand in the way between God and us.
You cannot see or experience the work of the Lord without removing the tile that lies in front of you.
And finally, the paralytic was brought down to Jesus.
Why did these people bring the paralytic to Jesus today?
To lead the paralytic to Jesus.
Why did you have to?
Because only Jesus is the key to solving problems.
Why have they worked so hard so far?
Only because of Jesus.
Saints can also serve as civil servants throughout their lives.
You can do big business.
Sprouts can patronize.
You can be a university professor.
But whatever they do, the goal of believers in Jesus is to lead even one soul to Jesus.
Finally, the paralytic was brought down to Jesus.
This is the time.
In verse 20, Jesus saw their faith.
He saw the faith of the field before he saw the paralytic.
Why do you see faith?
Because belief is the key to solving problems.
Because without faith you cannot become a child of God, without faith you cannot be saved, and without faith you cannot eventually go to heaven.
Seeing their faith, Jesus speaks through the words of verse 24.
“Your sins are forgiven”
He even gave the forgiveness of sins free of charge to him who came to heal his physical ailments.
And looking at verse 24,
“Get up, take your bed and go home.”
You did.
Today, this paralyzed man has received the grace of being healed not only of spiritual problems, but of physical ailments as well.
While offering the word>>
Organize your words.
Today we live with so many life problems.
But at this time, I hope that we too, like this paralytic, will come forward to Jesus, who is the key to solving our problems.
Whether it be a spiritual problem or a physical problem, you can experience the amazing work of solving it when you entrust it to the Lord.
I bless you in the name of the Lord that you will enjoy the true joy of being resolved by entrusting all the problems of your life to the Lord.
