Psalm 1:1-6
1. Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful.
2. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
3. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; in all that he does, he prospers.
4. The wicked are not so; but they are like chaff that the wind blows.
5. Therefore the wicked will not stand judgment, nor will sinners enter the assembly of the righteous.
6. All the ways of the righteous are approved by the LORD, but the ways of the wicked will be destroyed.

This week is the week of Chuseok, and if you look at it through the eyes of faith, you will find that our country has no choice but to live well. In the text, we can see that reality. From the beginning of verse 1, “Blessed is the man… It starts with ”. By the way, the word “blessing” here is a Hebrew word for “asm”, which refers to the blessing given as a reward to those who obey the Word in personal fellowship with God. In other words, it refers to a person who can only do well. Who is the person who can only do well (blessed)?
1. Those who have turned away from sin (verse 1)
2. Only those who delight in the word of the LORD (verse 2)
3. Those who are approved by the Lord (verse 6)
Leave sin. Just enjoy and follow the word of God. And be accepted by God.
