The power of praise
2 Corinthians (25) The power of praise (2 Corinthians 7:2-4)
For true reform, you must be good at throwing away what is wrong, but you also need to be good at filling in what is good. The apostle Paul exhorted the Corinthians to cleanse themselves from every defilement of body and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God (verse 1). The apostle Paul emphasizes “purifying oneself.” The Korean church cannot become clean only when you become clean, and real reformation can take place. The important thing is to fill yourself with holy and beautiful things.
Many churches are building fortifications. If you absolutely need it, you should. However, in some cases, churches are built just like the Tower of Babel for the sole purpose of growth and display. However, the Tower of Babel must be destroyed, and the people who participated in the construction of the Tower of Babel receive God's wrath. The building of the heart and character of Jesus is more important than the building of the Tower of Babel.
The fortified Korean church has become very weak. It is hard to find a saint who dedicates himself to each other like in the past. At a time like this, we realize once again the necessity of building faith. Now is the time to show your true faith even more when you say that the world is dark. In particular, the leader needs to set an example. The biggest crisis in our country right now is not the North Korean threat or economic difficulties, but the corruption of our spiritual leaders.

How to be a good leader? First, the leader must always walk the right way. Therefore, there must be no unrighteousness, harm to others, or defrauding others (verse 2). You must also truly love your flock. The apostle Paul truly loved and cared for the Corinthians (verse 3). The most important virtue of a leader is to praise him well. The apostle Paul boldly rebuked the Corinthians if necessary. However, he did not end with rebuking, and boasted as much as possible about the strengths of the Corinthians (verse 4).
Although the Corinthian church was a troubled church, the Apostle Paul boasted of them wherever he went, mentioning the potential of the Corinthian church and the Corinthians. His pride and praise were not in vain. So, later, through Titus, he heard that the church in Corinth had repented, and at that time the apostle Paul was filled with comfort and joy (verse 4).
In life, there must be reproof, but in fact, praise is much more educational and desirable than reproof. Praise has the power to turn a fool into a genius. Miraculously, if you praise, you do things that will be praised, and if you criticize, you will do things that will be criticized. Praise hard. There are merits that everyone can praise. If you find the strengths and praise them, your life will be filled with emotion and joy. When we give and receive compliments like this, the world becomes a more pleasant world.
Compliments are the best glue that keeps a relationship strong. Giving praise moves more than giving money and giving gifts. Why are there many conflicts and enemies in human relationships? The main reason is that they give less praise. How many people are thirsty for praise right now? Give them water of praise. Then the other person will be happy, and you will be happy too.
Compliments naturally reduce resentment and complaints. After all, misfortune begins where praise ends, and misfortune ends where praise begins. Keep praising. Praise also increases your score. Compliments also make your face beautiful. Praise makes a person positive. Praise brings the community together. Praise significantly increases the possibility of material blessings. Praise increases the will to live and increases the size of hope.
Of course, God sometimes rebukes us, but basically, the gospel already contains infinite praise. In the end, God also takes pleasure in praise above all else. Praise me first. First, speak the word of faith. Don't say it as it is, pray for what will happen in the future, and say it while drawing a video, and it will come true as you say and praise you. Be God's praised leaders by always finding something to praise someone, praising them hard, and not losing hope even in the midst of hardship.
