Bible Text: Acts 3:1-10 Title: Starting Point of Power
Acts 3:1-10.
1 Peter and John went up to the temple during the ninth hour of prayer.
2 People are carrying the lame at birth.
to beg from those who enter the temple
The one who puts daily at the gate of the temple called the Beautiful Gate.
3 When he saw Peter and John going into the temple, he begged.
4 Peter looked at him with John and said, "Look at us."
5 He looked to see what they might get from them.
6 Peter said, Silver and gold I have no
I give you what I have
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk
7 He took his right hand and lifted him up, and his feet and ankles immediately gained strength.
8 As I ran and walked, I went with them into the temple,
walking and running, praising God
9 When all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10 They thought that he was the one who used to sit begging at the beautiful gate of the temple.
I was very amazed and amazed at what had happened to him.
Where do abilities start?
First is prayer. (Verse 1)
“At the ninth hour, at the hour of prayer, Peter and John went up to the temple.”
Traditionally, Jews prayed three times a day.
Introducing Daniel.
Daniel prayed before the king's command.
Daniel 6:10
10 Even though Daniel knew that this decree was fish-sealed,
When he went back to his house, he went to Jerusalem in that room.
In the open window, kneeling three times a day as I did before
He prayed and gave thanks to God.
Second, the starting point for ability to appear is caring for the weak.
In verse 4, “Peter and John looked at them together, saying, Look at us.”
Please pay attention to Luke 10:30-37.
30 Jesus answered and said to him, A certain man in Jerusalem
As he was going down to Jericho, he met a robber.
The robbers stripped him of his clothes, beat him, and left him completely dead.
31 Just when a priest was going down that road, he saw him and passed by
32 In the same way, a Levite also came to the place, saw him, and passed by on the other side.
33 A certain Samaritan, on his journey, came there, saw him, and had compassion on him.
34 And he came near, poured oil and wine on their wounds, and bound them up.
He put him on his own animal and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying,
Take care of this person, if there are more boobies
I will repay you when I return.
36 In your opinion, which of these three will be the neighbor of the robber?
37 He said, He who showed mercy.
Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”
Third, the name of Jesus Christ we have is power. (verse 6)
"Peter said to him, "Silver and gold I do not have, but I have
I give you, walk in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.”
Where do abilities start?
It's just praying.
I am only interested in those who are weaker than me.
Only through Jesus Christ in me
It's just spreading love.
Then the power comes from God.
The history and revival of the church comes naturally.
