There are no coincidences in life
2 Kings (19) There are no coincidences in life
(2 Kings 8:1-6)
"There are no coincidences in life"
One day, Elisha told the Shunammite woman to go to another country with her family and live there for 7 years after 7 years of famine (verse 1). So, after living in the Philistines for 7 years, when she returned, someone else took over the house and land for 7 years without her. At that time, she had no way of claiming herself. Reluctantly, she comes to the king to reclaim her house and land (verse 3). At that time the king was meeting Elisha's servant Gehazi.
The king said to Gehazi. “Tell me all the great things that Elisha has done” (verse 4). Then Gehazi told the king that Elisha had raised the dead son of the Shunammite woman (verse 5). It was then that she came to the king and complained about the unfair situation. How do you get the timing so right? When Gehazi said that he knew her, the king trusted her completely, and as soon as he heard her appeal, he appointed an official to return the house and the land, and further ordered to return all the produce of the field that had been obtained for seven years (6). section).
There are no coincidences in the life of a saint. It all happened according to God's plan. Even if you sometimes face hardships and hurts in your life, have faith that all of them were accomplished under the good providence of God. Getting to know and meeting someone is not just a casual episode. So, think deeply about what it means to know and meet someone, and make that person a heavenly companion and non-comrade.
Think carefully about past encounters and make good use of them. That meeting is by no means accidental. If you manage your present meeting well, it is often the cornerstone of future blessings. Just as God's hand seeps into a single grass, there is God's will in every encounter. Even if you meet someone who has a completely different style from you, if you understand and accept the differences, the other person will be valued more and you will be happier because of the differences.
< God who prepares >
There are no coincidences in life. How exactly did the Shunammite woman who came back from living in the Philistines after 7 years to meet the king coincide with the time the king spoke with Gehazi? So her difficult problem was solved right away. This is not a coincidence, but something God prepared 7 years ago. If you truly believe in the grace that God is preparing, you do not need to worry any more. The great difficulties we face in our lives are often a way to prepare for God's great grace.
For a year after that, he loses hope and wanders around like a wretch. Then, one day, I found a sick and crying child on the road, brought him to the examination room, and as he put a stethoscope to his chest, he heard the pounding heartbeat of his dead daughter's heart. It was then that he realized something deeply in the sound of his pulse. “This is my daughter. No, all the untreated children in the world are my daughters. To make me realize this, God took my daughter, but I went astray without knowing it.”
He decided to live a life of love and devotion, believing that what happened to him was not an accident but the providence of God. From then on, a new life began, and the world that seemed sad and meaningless looked beautiful. So, following God's will, I opened a hospital in Dal-dong, Bongcheon-dong with a sense of mission. And, thinking of his beloved daughter, he became a Schweitzer in Bongcheon-dong, who saved thousands of lives by providing free treatment to countless patients and especially infants.
There are good things in life, but sometimes there are also great pains. However, even in the midst of great pain, there will always be the work of God working together for good and the grace that God is preparing. God has a detailed plan for our lives, and if there are people we need to meet, He will meet them and provide them if we need them. Don't worry too much. What we really need to worry about is that we cannot fully obey God's will. No matter how difficult it is, if you do not give up your obedience life, you will experience the grace of God who opens the best way through the worst.
