There is a way in the Word.

Genesis 12:1-9

There is a story about the world famous Arabian Stallion (Sleeping Horse). The Prophet Mohammed is determined to find the greatest stallion on this planet. So he went around the world looking for 100 mares and locked them up. There was enough food for the horses to eat, but not a drop of water to drink. But looking down that cage, a beautiful stream was flowing. When the wind blows, the smell of water is carried by the wind.

Muhammad locked the horses in cages until they were thirsty without giving them a sip of water. Then suddenly the door opened wide. The horses freed from their cages raised their tails and ran towards the stream, breathing heavily. When the horses almost reached the brook, Muhammad blew his horn vigorously. Then, out of the 100 horses rushing, 4 horses heard the horn signal, put their hooves on the ground, stopped and waited for their master's command.

At this time, Muhammad said: "I will use those four horses as stallions to raise the finest horses in the world. I will name them Arabian Stallions." Thus, it is said that the best Arabian stallion in the world was born.

Among the many horses, he was able to become a world-class Arabian stallion when he stopped at the sound of his master's horn.

We are the children and people of the Lord called by God.

We are the beings who have to listen to the voice of God and not the voice of the world.

God continues to speak to us today with unchanging love. Sometimes, God's voice is heard through the living and working Word.

Sometimes He reveals His will through the working of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes he hears the voice of love through his family and people around him, and sometimes through physical pain or adversity.

Christianity is said to be a religion of revelation.

Most other religions make images of gods and worship or serve them. It is serving the image of the Absolute that humans seek as an image of some form. But there is no revelation there. There is only blind worship. This is what we call idolatry.

But the God we believe in is not like that.

He is the God who lives and works here today and is with us and speaking.

Therefore, we believe that listening to and following His voice, not other voices, is the true form of a believer.

Even at this moment, God is speaking through His chosen servants. I believe that God will fill those who hear, respond, and obey the words that are heard through the lips of the servant who are lacking today, not as human voices, with the spiritual blessings of heaven and the rich blessings of the earth.

In Acts 10, we see the centurion Cornelius. He was a Gentile, not a Jew, but a Roman. But he feared God, helped many people, and always prayed. One day, while praying, he is instructed by God to bring Peter to his house by fire, and he asks for Peter. When Peter comes, Cornelius is not alone, but his family and friends.

When Peter came, Cornelius said in Acts 10:33, 'Well done. Now we are before God to hear all that you have commanded you.' This is a very precious confession.

Those who had gathered with Cornelius were truly prepared to hear the word. Cornelius believed that God had prepared the place and circumstances for hearing the Word.

Look at Peter, a fisherman from Galilee. As a fisherman, when you have worked all night, but nothing has been saved, the Lord speaks. Luke 5:1-

1 When the crowds supported and listened to the word of God, Jesus stood by the shore of Lake Gennesaret 2 and saw two boats on the shore of the lake, and the fishermen got out of the boat and washed their nets. After asking him to float a little, he sat down and taught the crowd in the boat. 4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Go out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."

If you think about it from Peter's point of view, it doesn't make sense at first glance. He was very tired because he had been netting all night, and he must have been in a very emotional state because no fish could be caught. The Lord must have been watching him wash his nets from the beginning, but he said to go out before washing, or to come and go out to sea again.

But what was Peter's reaction to Jesus' words?

Verse 5: ?imon answered and said, Teacher, we have labored all night and have caught nothing; but at your word I will let down the nets.??

Peter first humbly admits his failure. In this desperate situation, he looked to Jesus and tried to hold on to his word. He overcame numerous reasons for disobeying the Word, and ultimately decided to lower the net by relying on the Word.

Dear saints, If this is the word of the Lord, I ask you to let go of all our thoughts and plans, our experiences and even our last pride. I believe that when I give up everything I have been holding on to so far and try to hold on to the Word completely, there will be a path that God has planned and dreamed of, which I never expected. What happened to Peter?

Verses 6 and 7. ?hen they caught a lot of fish, and the nets were torn. So they beckoned to the companions in the other boat to come and help. They came and filled both boats, and they were submerged.??

There is a way in the Word.

Genesis 11 31-32

31 Terah took Abram his son, Lot son of Haran, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and Sarai his wife Abram's wife, and they left Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan. When they came to Haran, they dwelt there. 32 Terah lived two hundred and five years and died in Haran.

The father Terah, along with his sons Abram, Lot, and Sarai, left Ur of the Chaldeans and went to the land of Canaan, came to Haran and stopped. Because it must have been a great adventure for his father Terah to leave his homeland of Ur. No, I wouldn't want to leave. Now I am old and near death. But what kind of movie do you go back to your hometown to watch? Regardless of whether they fell into idolatry or the wrong culture, they would just want to live in their homeland and die in peace. So Terah, Abram's father, came to Haran, a region halfway between Ur and Canaan, and stopped.

After his father Terah died in Haran at the age of two hundred and five, Abram must have thought a lot and prayed a lot. What will you do from now on? to go or not to go? When I came to the land of Haran, I hesitated. It is between chapters 11 and 12, but perhaps Abram went through many sleepless days.

There will be times when we too will encounter situations that we cannot do anything about while we are living our life of faith. There are times when you will not be able to leave and you will not be able to move on. Abraham waited quietly, patiently, and prayed. I prayed and waited for God's time. Even though it was slow and frustrating, I left everything to God and waited patiently. The time has finally come.

Looking at the 12th chapter of Genesis we read today, we should pay attention to the text about how Abram makes decisions about his future under his selective circumstances.

1 The LORD said to Abram, "Leave your land, your relatives, and your father's house, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, and you will be a blessing to those who bless you. I will bless and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed in you.

When he was in trouble, God himself said to Abram, at a time when he did not know where to go, ?eave your country, your relatives, and your father? house, and go to the land I will show you.??

How anxious, anxious, and frustrated would you feel if you tried to move forward with your experience? Knowing our hearts, the Lord speaks to Abram. ?eave your country, your relatives, and your father? house, and go to the land I will show you.??

Notice Abram's reaction.

4 So Abram went according to the word of the LORD, and Lot went with him; and Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.

Abraham obeyed God's word and left the land of Haran and set out for the land of Canaan. Hearing God's voice, he did not hesitate and followed God's word. At the age of seventy-five he .....

There are many different ways we live in the world.

However, the surest and most obvious way among them is to follow the Word.

When we obey the Word and go forth, God will open the way for him and bless him.

Abraham is 75 years old. Even though the road to get there at that age was difficult and difficult, it was God's clear voice and will, so I followed that path.
