When I meet a child who can't stop, a husband who can't stop, a wife who can't stop, people who can't stop, and problems that I can't stop, especially when those problems are so close to me that they affect my happiness and unhappiness, and furthermore, such people, When such a problem becomes a major obstacle to the religious life of me and my family and the establishment of the kingdom of heaven, what do you think the solution is?
If you answer, "Hey, is there anything other than prayer!" Your answer is unmistakably correct from a biblical point of view.
Furthermore, if you are praying more powerfully for the unstoppable problem and the unstoppable person, the light of hope will surely shine on you.
But "what happens to prayer?" In light of the Bible, the answer is definitely the wrong answer.
And furthermore, if you give up on prayer and live your life, you will be faced with continuous darkness.
And your appearance is making the servant of the Lord so frustrated and sad.
In today's text, there is a child who can't stop.
No matter how much the mother and father love the child, she is a child who cannot stop her no matter how much she tries. Clearly, mothers and fathers are people who can do anything without any problem, but somehow, the child born in English has become a child who cannot be dried from an early age.
People around me say, "Hey, that kid can't stop!" countless times. Hearing such stories makes parents even more irritable and angry.
"Hey, everyone is like that when they're young!" At first, I went over it unintentionally, but when I looked closely, I could see that I couldn't stop it with my own children. As I look at the unstoppable child, I breathe a deep sigh and hear the gospel while I am greatly worried.
"If you can't stop a child like that, take him to Jesus! Jesus must be able to stop him. He can heal him!"
"No, how can Jesus stop a child who can't even be stopped by the parents...?" A little doubtful, but out of love for the child, the parents took the child to Jesus.
But on that day, Jesus went to the prayer he lived with Peter and John James, and only the disciples were left. He comes back to the house because Jesus is not there, so the child's father grabs the remaining disciples and begs them.
"Please heal my child."
"No, what disease does this child have? He looks fine."
"Yeah, usually it's fine, but sometimes I have seizures."
"A seizure? What's going on?"
"Yes, none other than my child is possessed by a demon."
"No, ghosts? Where are ghosts in a world with such advanced science and civilization? And anyway. Where are the parents who say their children are possessed by demons?"
“Oh, who would want their children to be demon-possessed children?
"No, what do you think the kid is doing?"
“Yeah, nothing else, but he suddenly collapses, his eyes turn terrifyingly, his mouth foams, his body trembles like he ate rat poison, his teeth grate, his face pale. And sometimes by fire and water. It wasn't the first time I've had a seizure and went to the brink of death. Oops, please heal my child."
However, no matter how much they tried, the disciples of Jesus could not find a way to heal the child, and they had different opinions.
At that very moment, after Jesus had finished praying, he came down and saw this little child, and he suddenly had seizures and was acting uncontrollably. The symptoms are so severe that even Jesus asks his parents.
"Since when did the child become like this?"
"Yeah, it's been like that since I was little. Now, as parents, we can't stop it. Please help us."
Then Jesus brings out the exact identity of the demon in the child and tells him.
"You dumb and deaf demon, I command you, come out of the child and never enter it again."
Then all of a sudden the little boy screamed, 'Aww!' and squawked. People gathered around him speak.
"Hey, it looks like that kid is dead. Hey, Jesus killed someone! Maybe it's good?"
Jesus took the child's hand casually and got him up, and the child got up, and now his eyes immediately returned. And the irritable behavior completely stopped and I became a normal child.
Because of this, the parents were very happy, and the child later grew up and married a very trusting girl and lived a very happy life.
But after this happened, the disciples asked Jesus quietly.
“Jesus, why were we not able to cast out the demon?”
Then Jesus says.
“This reason cannot go out by anything other than prayer.”
Guys, how can you stop the trouble that you can't stop, the person who can't stop you? How the heck can I solve that problem ?
To this question, "Is there any other way other than prayer? We must live and pray even if we die!" And if you pray with more strength today, there is always hope in your future.
But, "No, what happens to prayer?" And if you are still neglecting prayer, then you are a really frustrated person.
Today's Bible clearly tells us.
“This kind cannot go out by anything other than prayer.”
In other words, the only way to solve a difficult problem that I cannot solve is through prayer.
Of course, you may not need to pray if you are so easy to sell and you have no problems living in this world.
However, no matter how good the seller is, once we are born on this earth, we will all face problems that we can't stop, people who can't stop us. And because of that, the mind becomes stuffy, and it is surrounded by stress and anguish.
Do not forget these words of Jesus right then.
“This kind cannot come out by anything other than prayer.”
Just as a demon clings to a child in today's text and destroys his life and drives his family into unhappiness, at the end of the last days, demons will work even harder among us and try to drive us into curses, ruin, and misery.
At this point, "Oh, yes! You should pray!" If you realize this and devote yourself to prayer and cling to it, you are truly a blessed person. He is truly a blessed person.
If you ask, "No, pastor, will prayer really solve my problems? Pastor, are you sure? Are you sure you are not cheating?" You must engrave today's words of Jesus on your heart and cry out every day.
"Jesus said, "This kind cannot come out by anything but prayer."
Of course, you're smart, so you can try this or that.
But keep in mind. People who are much smarter than you and people much more powerful than you are in such a situation and pray earnestly to God.
And the Jesus you believe in, the Jesus I believe in, and the Jesus we believe in, even though they were the Son of God, prayed to God when they had a difficult problem.
And he told us many times to pray, and he prophesied that if we don't pray for an hour, we will have no choice but to fall into temptation (Matthew 26:40-42).
By any chance, did you not pass the big test?
Did you have any major problems? Do you often take exams? Are you feeling frustrated and depressed? The most obvious cause of this is that prayer failed. However, no matter how large a mountain or an unstoppable problem comes, once you succeed in prayer, you can overcome the problem and sing a song of joy today and shout 'I am happy!'
Clearly, a Christian's happiness or unhappiness depends on prayer.
Even if you have many conditions of happiness, if you do not pray today, you are a person who is unhappy today.
However, even if the conditions of worldly happiness are few, if you pray a lot, you are a happy person today.
Prayer is the best attitude to not only make yourself happy, but also to bring harmony to your family and to make the kingdom of heaven beautiful.
When we pray, faith, hope, and love arise, and we taste the power of heaven. When you pray, righteousness, peace, and joy spring up.
When we pray, the wisdom of heaven arises and we taste the power of heaven.
If you pray, you will hear the voice of God and realize the secrets of heaven. The devil, who knows this fact better than anyone else, comes and speaks to us yesterday and today.
"Hey, don't just pray, even if you do everything else. If you pray a lot, you're a fanatic. God knows everything, so what are you praying for?"
If these whispering voices come into your mind, resolutely resist them. “Satan, go away.”
And pray like this. "Lord, give me the spirit of prayer. Give me victory over prayer in my whole life!"
Gentlemen, I believe that our Full Gospel Church is a very good church.
Therefore, if you come to the Full Gospel Church, your problems will be solved. Miracles happen. Not because you and I are good, but because God hears our prayers and works even if we are weak and lacking.
Ladies and gentlemen, this foreign land is in need of prayer more than Korea.
If you think that Canada is good to live here, or if you neglect to pray, you may feel comfortable right now, but you will regret it greatly after a while.
If a Christian does not pray, no matter how good a country may be, the future cannot be guaranteed by God. However, even on a barren land, where there is abundant prayer, God's blessings will arise.
Therefore, let us pray more diligently.
Sometimes, even if prayer is very difficult, 'If I stop praying, I will perish!' Let's cling to prayer more with the thought of absolute desperation.
Let's make our Full Gospel Church a church that prays the most, so that problems are solved and blessings appear. Finally, through me and all of you who pray so hard, I pray that the kingdom of heaven will be made beautiful in this foreign land.
