Title: I have the power to confess.
Bible: Matthew 16:13-18
In today's verse, Peter confesses the Lord as the Christ in response to the Lord's question, 'Who are you?'
This is a word we know all too well.
Today, I would like to receive grace together with the title of 'Confession has power'.
Let's follow. “There is power in confession”
“You are a great theologian. What do you think is the most important thing, your ideological confession?”
Barthes replied, "It is written in the Bible that you love Jesus... He loves me. love me”
It seems like a really surprising confession. Hymn 411, as we know it well, is a hymn that many people love and cherish.
But surprisingly, this hymn was selected as the most wanted hymn before death.
This is a hymn that a dying patient asks others to sing.
Hearing the confession that the Lord loves me, finding comfort, and preparing for death.
How happy would it be to know that someone loves me? Even if that person is a strange person, confession makes people flutter.
How happy would it be if the person I liked confessed to me?
Also, how happy would I be if I confessed to the person I like and that confession was accepted?
Anyone who has ever worked in entertainment, especially a man, would have had this experience.
I was chasing my family. How do you do it in the first place? Observe! “This person likes this food. What does this person like!” And how?
plan. I don't think there's anything that requires a plan as meticulously as entertainment... It has to be incredibly detailed.
At first, it was difficult for me to say a word to my family. My family called me Mushroom Stone. And, he really hated me.
How could such a confession be made?
But when I confessed with one courage... And when this confession was accepted...
Now you don't have to tremble in front of that person anymore, and you don't have to be careful.
I became comfortable. I became confident. Now you have yourself in front of that person.
Confession makes a person confident.
Today the Lord asks Peter if you love me.
The Lord also knew Peter's weakness. You knew you were going to deny yourself. You know what you didn't learn. He also knew that he was a no-nonsense person.
But when he made him confess, Peter had power.
