Content God is a person who thinks more deeply and thinks more than anyone else. “The thoughts of God are too deep to go crazy, and there are too many to count. If we count, they are more than sand, and if we count them all we forget” (Joint Translation Psalm 139:17-18) The Bible is a book that makes us think and think more.
?? thinking of throwing away
God tells us that, first, we have thoughts of throwing away. “...the wicked let his way, and the unrighteous, let him cast away his thoughts and turn to the LORD” (verse 7) Thoughts decide whether we live or die. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace. The carnal mind is hostile to God and cannot submit to God's law (Romans 8:5,8).
The carnal thoughts must be thrown away. “When I was a child, I spoke like a child to think, to understand; but when I became a man, I put away childish things” (1 Corinthians 13:11). Think more. Find the thoughts to let go of. God tells us to throw away “that thought” and come. If you do, you will be merciful.

God says, “My thoughts are not your thoughts” (verse 8). The difference between people is the difference in thinking. Negative thoughts and positive thoughts are different, and old thoughts and novel thoughts are different. Rejoice in the days of prosperity, and think in the days of trouble (Ecclesiastes 7:14). If you think deeply on a difficult day, a prosperous day will come. Success and failure, happiness and unhappiness come from very little differences in thinking. “The heart of a wise man is on the right hand, and the heart of a fool is on the left” (Ecclesiastes 10:2). Lack of wisdom is directed to the left.
The Bible calls biased thinking foolishness. The one on the right is said to be a wise man and a blessed one. Think more. Design small thoughts big and dark thoughts bright. People create ideas by seeing and hearing. Seeing and hearing is the material of thought. Think more. Differentiate yourself by thinking differently.

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts” (verse 9). The height of a thought is the size of a man. A strong person has a strong mind. High thoughts are thoughts of God. A high thought is not to think about the past. “Remember the former things, and do not consider the old things” (Psalm 43:16) and think of the future. “… he has given man a heart to long for eternity” (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Longing for eternity, we think of the future glory. High thoughts think above things. “...if ye have been raised with Christ...then think of the things above, and not the things of the earth” (Colossians 3:1-2).
Looking to Jesus is a high thought. High thoughts think militantly. A more active thought than an active one is a militant thought. And I think challenging. It means challenging yourself to the top. Thought is power. Conquer the summit with high thoughts.
Think positively, creatively, and militarily.
“The things I have planned will surely come to pass, and the things I have planned will surely come to pass” (Isaiah 14:24).
