March 14 Mark 4:35--41

Subject: to cross over to the other side

At the end of that day (when is this day)? On the same day that the Lord spoke of the kingdom of God in many parables before him, he told the disciples to go to the other side (that is, to cross the Sea of Galilee to the other side).

From the place of hearing the word to the place where faith is needed, if you go there, you will meet a storm.

The new field of meeting people possessed by demons (Mark 5) - The field where the Lord teaches His disciples and applies them

He wanted to take his disciples to the other side where new souls and ministry await.

A great storm arose, and waves crashed into the boat and filled the boat, and soon the boat was in danger of sinking (Mark 4:37).

(A wind storm is a phenomenon in which the wind from the valley of Mount Hermon suddenly drives the Sea of Galilee into a storm robe.)

We learn a lot from this fact

The fact that believing in Jesus does not mean that there are no tribulations or difficulties at all

The fact that difficulties came even if you carried Jesus and walked with the Lord

Do you think there will be no problems among us if we believe in Jesus? It's not like that. Even walking with Jesus can face difficulties.

ex) What are the storms and difficulties?

Difficulties encountered naturally in life

Difficulty in maturing disciples; trials with God's intentions

The attack of the spirit of darkness that prevents us from accomplishing God's will

This storm that came while taking Jesus

1) A natural phenomenon in which the wind from the valley of Mount Hermon suddenly drives the Sea of Galilee into a storm.

2) The Lord may have intended to check the faith of the disciples by making them face problems in reality.

3) Knowing that Jesus is coming from the other side, it may be a storm caused by the spirit of darkness in the army possessed by demons to disturb them.

What was the reaction of the disciples at this time?

Disciples are in a hurry, unable to find a solution, shake the sleeping Jesus and wake him up and say murmurings

In other words, the reaction that the Lord wanted the disciples to show when he wanted to go to the other side of this process - was faith. And he wanted to use that belief.

When we listen to the Word and study the Bible, we sometimes think that we have faith, but that is faith at the level of intellectual assent and understanding. However, that belief is tested when confronted with reality.

The Lord's intention to use our faith may be a test sent to test our faith, and then use it to pass and overcome the storm.

I think the Lord wants our church to cross over once again

Our church has to cross over 5 years ago - it's a missionary church

Now we have to cross over to the other side again - the stage of actually evangelizing and bearing fruit in my life

Also, I want you to take the evangelized soul as my disciple and cross to a new level of living a life of serving others.

Why is there no difficulty when crossing the other side? When saving lost souls, environmental storms may rage, ridicule and ridicule from those around you, damage your physical health, or even cause misunderstanding and hurt from people close to you.

We want our church and each of you individually to cross over to the other side of faith and to enter a new stage of faith.
