To overcome suffering 1 Peter 5:10
There is no person who has not encountered hardships in life. There are big and small differences between people, but everyone experiences hardships in any form. There is just a lot of difference in the process of feeling and accepting it. Suffering is a fate that disappears when you die. Suffering is proof that you are alive.
But because of suffering, we can feel today's joy stronger. After all, if you do not experience hardship, you cannot taste the joy of life. Therefore, in order to live a happy life, you must first overcome difficulties. God wants us to be born stronger through suffering.
How should we overcome the hardships that have come like a thief in our lives? This problem can be said to be the central task of the Christian faith. We can find the solution to suffering through the characters of the Bible. In the Bible, Job teaches that the best way to overcome hardships is to ask God and trust in God (Job 5:7-8). Peter tells us to think of God even when we suffer (1 Peter 2:19). James said that those who are afflicted will pray (James 5:15).
In this way, the Bible teaches that we must rely on God to overcome suffering. Then, why should we depend on God to overcome suffering? This is because, as Peter explains, we see it as a participation in the sufferings of Christ. To put it more simply, because the God who calls us to his eternal glory completes, strengthens, strengthens, and establishes the foundation of us who suffer in him (1 Peter 5:10).
Our lives in pursuit of happiness are inevitably accompanied by hardships, and through those hardships our faith matures. Therefore, in order to enjoy true happiness in God, we must overcome any hardships with faith. It is difficult to seek truth without suffering in an evil world. We must have a correct understanding of Jesus' substitutionary suffering.
The wicked world hates us Christians so much that we encounter Christ in our sufferings. That is why the proclamation of the gospel gives us the power to overcome suffering. Even believers often fall apart without overcoming hardships. This person suffers the pain of being defeated twice. We lost in faith and we lost in hardship. Christians are always tempted. The important thing is to discover God's voice through trials.
God who suffered on the cross is always with us in suffering. Only God can help us in our suffering. We must experience true happiness by overcoming hardships in the Lord. Dear you who sigh in distress, the comfort and peace of God will come to you soon. Shalom.
