Old Testament
9. Abishai son of Zeruiah said to the king, "How can this dead dog curse my lord the king? I pray, let me go over and cut off his head."
10. And the king said, "Sons of Zeruiah, what have I to do with you? The one he curses is that the LORD says to him, Curse David. What can you do? Who can say to you?"
11. And David said to Abishai and all his servants, If the son of my own wants to harm my life, how much more must this Benjaminite be, as the LORD has commanded him, and let him curse him.
12. Perhaps the LORD will see my grievance, and the LORD will repay me with good for that curse today.
13. As David and his followers went on their way, Shimei followed him up the hillside, cursing and hurling stones at him and blowing the dust away.
new testament

4. Jesus said to her, “Woman, what have you to do with me? My hour has not yet come.
5. His mother said to the servants, "Whatever he tells you, do it."
6. There were placed six stone jars carrying two or three barrels according to the Jewish purification rites.
7. Jesus said to them, "Fill the jars with water." So they filled them up to the mouth.
8. Now he said, “Take it out and bring it to the banquet hall.”
9. The banquet hall tasted the water-based wine, but did not know where it came from, but the servants who drew the water knew it. The banquet hall called the bridegroom
10. They said, "Everyone makes good wine first, and after they are drunk, they serve low things; but you have kept good wine until now."
11. Jesus performed these first signs in Cana of Galilee to reveal his glory, and his disciples believed in him.
sermon
When Jesus was invited to a wedding feast in Cana, the feast ran out of wine. A feast without wine was like a walnut without kernels, and the guests had no more reason to stay at a feast where there was no more joy. For this desperate family, Jesus turned water into wine to solve the problem and restore joy. How can we bring our problems to the Lord for resolution?
1. Speak to the Lord. When Jesus' mother brought a problem to Jesus, the Lord solved the problem. She said to Jesus, “They have no wine.” By simply telling us about our problems, we experience the solution of many problems. Speak to the Lord first before speaking to a friend or close person. The Lord grants our requests.
2. Even if you feel rejected, trust that the Lord will fix it. Jesus' response to his mother's request is not easily understood. “Woman, what does this have to do with me?” Mary, the mother of Jesus, did not give up her trust in Jesus even when it seemed that she had been rejected. He believed that he would surely solve it. Do we believe that God loves us? Then trust that his love will solve our problems.
3. Submit to the Lord's way of solving it. Mother Mary said to the servants, “Whatever he tells you, do it.” We sometimes expect you to solve things our way. But God does it His way. Do you believe that the Lord knows everything? Then trust that the Lord knows what is the best way to solve our problems. If you obey the Lord's way, you will see miracles.
As Jesus commanded, the servants filled stone jars with water, floated them, and gave them to the banquet hall. The banquet hall tasted the water that the servants had drawn up and wondered where this delicious wine came from. The secret was known only to servants who obeyed the word of the Lord. Those who report their problems to the Lord and submit to the end in faith will enjoy the joy of experiencing miracles.
