When the promise of blessing comes true
2 Corinthians (5) When the promise of blessing is fulfilled (2 Corinthians 1:15-20)
<Have the faith of Amen>
Misunderstandings abound in life. Life is a confession between understanding and misunderstanding. The apostle Paul was also misunderstood by some of the Corinthians. They accused Paul of not having the qualifications to be an apostle because he was not a direct disciple of Jesus, and that he had no spiritual charisma.
They also accused Paul of not keeping his promises. Originally, Paul was going to stop at Corinth on his way to Macedonia to raise a relief offering for the church in Jerusalem. However, they put the plan on hold for a while because they thought it was not okay to talk about relief offerings with their misunderstanding. However, Paul said that he acted according to the faithful will of God and did not immediately change his plan humanly by saying “Yes!” to “No!” (verses 17-18).
The key members who preached the gospel of Jesus to the church in Corinth were Paul, Silas, and Timothy. The Jesus they preached did not say “yes!” but “no!” but only said “yes!” and lived faithfully according to God’s will. Emphasize that he was (v. 19). Without such indecisiveness and duality, “Amen!” And have the ‘faith of Amen’ to live according to the will of God silently. Then God will receive great glory through him (verse 10).
< When the promise of blessing is fulfilled >
As an herbaceous plant, bamboo can grow tall because it has a node in the middle. The middle word to rise to such a high level of faith is ‘Amen’s Confession of Faith’. Today, the word ‘amen’ is misused a lot, so we say ‘amen’ at any time, but in order to say ‘amen’ to God’s will, we must have a strong determination of faith and learn to give up our benefits for others. Rather than living with yourself as the center, when you understand the pain of others and put your mind to their happiness, your soul is cleared, and the value, quality, and worth of life significantly increase.
‘Amen’s life’ means ‘a life of obedience to the Word’. A life of obedience to the Word is a prerequisite for discipleship. Some people hate training and love a free life. But freedom includes ‘untrained freedom’ and ‘trained freedom’. 'Untrained freedom' gradually reduces the scope of freedom and blessings over time, whereas 'trained freedom' gradually expands the scope of freedom and blessings over time. A life of obedience to the Word is the most essential life for true freedom and blessings.
Christianity is the ‘religion of obedience and Amen’. If you disobey God's will, you will get nothing and nothing will happen. Even if it's hard, say "Amen!" And even if it hurts, “Amen!” And even if it fails, “Amen!” When you do, the promise of blessing will come true.
The earth orbits the distant sun for 365 days, silently obeying the order of creation established by the Word without breaking the time for even a second. How beautiful are you? Such a life of obedience to the Word makes the soul beautiful, and then God fills it with great blessings. In the end, for blessing and success, the first thing that must be established is a life of obedience. Even though many promises are given, those promises are fulfilled only to those who believe and obey.
The attitude you show when life is difficult will determine your retreat and progress in life. If you turn away from God's promises in difficult times, life in the wilderness continues to unfold, but if you hold on to God's promises and move forward even in difficult times, the blessings of Canaan will soon unfold. When you are in trouble, don't look back to Egypt, saying, "How is it harder than when you don't believe?" Even in hardships, “God! Still, I believe in the promises of God.” When you confess and go out, God will see your faith with joy and open the door to blessings.
