When there is joy, there are also miracles

<John (15) When there is joy, there is also a miracle (John 2:1-5)

<God of Abundance>

There was a great rooster on an animal farm. The rooster was the rooster that set the sun. Every morning the rooster said, “Damn!” and the sun came up. Other animals admired the great miraculous apostle rooster. Animal farm families worked hard to promote nearby animals. “Our rooster makes the sun rise!” With the power of the rooster, the animal farm was greatly revived.

As animal farms grew, the livestock were worried. “What if that rooster gets sick?” The rooster himself thought. “What if I die? If the sun doesn't rise, everyone will die. But my son's rooster is usable, so when I die, let him do the work of making the sun rise." Worry was also sold.

One day, the rooster became ill. The rooster was worried about his mission. “How about tomorrow morning?” The other livestock were also worried, "Now it's ruined!" But the next morning the sun was still rising, and so was the next day. Only then did the farm animals think they were deceived by the rooster and left the farm, and now the farm is in great danger.

People sometimes think that nothing will happen without someone like the livestock of an animal farm, but if there is only God, the year of hope still rises. On the other hand, some people sometimes behave like roosters and know how to get in trouble without them. But it is God who gives life. So don't get too high when things go well and don't get too discouraged when things don't work out. Bad things should be a part of life. Missing a penalty kick is just as much a part of the hard life as it is part of the game. What matters is whether you are in God. If you are in God, there are hardships but no misfortunes.

"Where there is joy there is also a miracle"

Many people today love miracles, but in fact, everyday life is a miracle. It is not wrong to expect miracles. The problem is that we often waste our lives not knowing how to become the protagonist of a miracle. What do you need to make miracles happen in your life? In the text, Jesus' first miracle of turning water into wine is mentioned. This miracle shows that Jesus cares deeply about the details of life.

One day, Jesus and his disciples attended a wedding feast in Cana of Galilee. Whose wedding party was it? It is most likely that the bride was a relative of Jesus, and the possibility that it was the wedding of one of Jesus' sisters cannot be ruled out. At the wedding, when the wine suddenly ran out, Jesus' mother said to him, "There is no wine" (verse 3). What a great man Jesus is. Do we have to come and talk about even the smallest things that have run out of wine? But tell Jesus about the little things.

You may think that Jesus is great because he is great and only cares about great things, and because he is holy, he is only interested in holy things, but Jesus cares about every need. Jesus is also with those in prison, but also with those who are at the party. Jesus doesn't think it's bad for the saints to have fun. Faith is not living with a ‘martyrdom complex’ that “you must live like a martyr”.

According to the Bible, Jesus often went to parties. Because Jesus lived happily like that, critics criticized Jesus as a “glutton and wine drinker” (Matthew 11:19). But Jesus is not the founder of a gloomy, strict, emotionally suffocating religion. Wherever Jesus went, he gave people the taste and joy of living there. Where there is such joy, miracles also happen. When joy suffocates, miracles do not occur.

Without joy in life, success comes and goes. On the other hand, if there is joy, no matter how great suffering is, it will soon disappear. Therefore, become a person who rejoices, a person who gives joy, a person who is comfortable and pleasant to meet, a person you want to be close to, a person you want to meet again, and a person you want to see again and again. Such a person is actually a person of good faith. Do not try to deny that fact and live in the complex of conflict, hurt and martyrdom. Martyrdom can be a process of faith, but martyrdom itself is not the end. The ultimate purpose of Jesus' coming is to bring joy in us (John 15:11).
