: It is noteworthy that, under these circumstances, the disciples of the prophets gathered to receive instruction from the prophet of God.
※ Even in this difficult situation, Elisha instructed to prepare food for those who gathered to hear the word of God.
※ A person who went out to the field to gather vegetables brought the fruits of the night vine and put it in the pot.
But the fruit was poisonous and inedible.
2). When the food was finished, he spread it out and gave it to the crowd, causing a great commotion.(40-41)
※ “There is the poison of death in the pot.” Perhaps the food was so bitter or astringent that it could not be eaten.
※ Due to famine, it was impossible to eat the food that was prepared with difficulty.
※ When Elisha said, “Bring some flour,” and put it in the pot, the food became edible again.
※ Like other miracles, the removal of poison from food while demonstrating God's grace to take care of his people in difficult circumstances is not the act of adding powder, but the result of responding to the servant's request.
