Sermons for Preaching

With a better title (Matthew 7:7-12)

[Matthew 7:7-12]

[7] Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you [8] For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. [9] Which of you has a son? If you ask for bread, he will give you a stone [10] If you ask for a fish, will anyone give you a snake? [11] If you are evil and know how to give good things to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him. [12] Therefore, whatever you would like others to do to you, do also to them. This is the law and the prophets.

We are working with the goal of reaching 35 million Christians in Korea by 2020. The goal is to raise the Christian population from 25% to 75%. We are praying and working to change the Korean culture itself into a culture dominated by Christian culture.

I earnestly pray in the name of God that it will be a precious early morning to experience the grace of God who gives us the best.

The popularity of military personnel in Korea ranks second. The first is civilians and the third is aliens. I am a chaplain who works to support these popular people, especially chaplains, to do their jobs well. Through today's Word, I would like to introduce to you the God I experienced.

How are you confessing your Heavenly Father? To me, I can confess that God is “the Giver of more than I ask, seek, and knock.” My childhood dream was to be a bus conductor. It is because the bus conductor who was able to ride the bus to his heart's content when he was not able to eat and wear well in the countryside looked so envious. But now, I fly every day, so I just thank God for making my dream come true.

In today's text, he says, "Ask, seek, and knock." If you do, he says he will give you everything. Because God is our Father, He wants to give us more and better things for our children. I am very grateful to God for making me a military officer who wanted to become a deputy commander. I pray in the name of the Lord that you will always be thankful to God who gives you more than you ask for.

I would like to tell you the most important point of today's sermon.

If we earnestly ask God, God will surely give us more than that. That's why we misunderstand that God gave it to us because we prayed. But because God is our Father, He is always looking at us to give us the best, even if we do not ask for it.

The most important thing is my relationship with God. Does God accept me as a child? And do I confess God as my Father? is. If this is done right, God will not be able to hide his urgency to give us something better. Today's text is a verse we know very well. The key point of this verse is in verse 12. [Therefore, whatever you want others to do to you, do also to them. This is the Law and the Prophets.] To see what God gives and pleases more, you must first treat God as your Father. When we acknowledge God, glorify Him, and acknowledge His authority, God will bless us. That is when God will pour out more than we ask, seek, and knock.

I had an amazing experience when I was in high school. One day, I went to my sister-in-law's house to play, and I attended a revival meeting. It was there that I happened to play Hymn 453 as a special song. Hearing this, the Rev. Rev. Lecturer suddenly got up and said, "Be the servant of the student who sang the special song." I rejected God's voice because I had my own goals.

My goal was to go to the Military Academy. However, he experienced the agony of life after two failures. But at that time, the voice of God that was given to me at the revival meeting was heard again. "Be the servant of the student who sent the special mail"

When I treat God as God, he pours out wonderful grace on me. I sincerely hope that you will receive the blessing and enjoy it.

In the short time allotted to me, I testified of the God I experienced. He is my father and I am his child. Father bless you in the name of the Lord for this precious time to realize that you want to give the best to your children.
