Work without interruption in Continue Mode. (1 Corinthians 8) 1 Corinthians 3:1~2
(1) Brethren, I cannot speak to you as I am dealing with spiritual people, but I am dealing with the carnal, as I do with little children in Christ.
(2) I have fed you with milk and not with rice, because you were not worthy, and you cannot now.
A long-standing problem with the church is that it lacked adults and had many spiritual children, such as a crowded nursery. The Apostle Paul fell into a sense of shame as he looked at the Corinthian church. It emphasizes the need to grow in faith. Spiritually old children must be changed. Let's take a look at the two characteristics of a spiritual child and guidelines for change.
* What are the characteristics of children?
1. There are times and disputes.
The vicious cycle of hurting and attacking each other continues. A husband becomes stressed and acts violently against his wife. Abusive language Son Ji-geom. My wife was abused. I scream, abuse, hit and attack children. Then, in anger, the children kick the dog and the cat. Dogs also bite and bite. It becomes a vicious cycle. One person's violence will eventually be punished by himself.
We must break the vicious cycle. But the main thing is that a small child can not be stopped. The vicious circle between people cannot be broken. If you go to God with the problem, the vicious cycle will be broken.
A typical example of breaking the vicious cycle is 1 Samuel 1.
ex1> You can see this by looking at Hannah's example. Peninnah continued to attack. Hannah was loved by her husband and had no children. Peninnah was full of anger because her husband did not love her and had a child. In a way, both women were wounded, but only one woman was praised as a great woman because of the different ways of dealing with each other. Hannah does not respond to Peninnah's anger. She took all her troubles to God. The vicious cycle of violence has been broken. The image of a mature Christian as an adult.
ex2> Let's look at David's example. Look at Psalm 109, the representative cursed poet 109:9~
9 His children are orphans, and his wife a widow,
10 Let his children wander and beg, and let them leave their desolate houses for filth.
11 He causes the usurper to take all that he has, and he causes a stranger to steal his labor.
12 Let no one show mercy to him, and no one show kindness to his orphan,
13 Let his descendants be cut off, and their names may be blotted out after generations.
How the cursed poetry becomes the Bible What is God's intention?
Even in times of curse, I can pray like this.
But it means don't pour it on your enemies. how are we
Aren't we replying with more text than this as an internet comment?
When you pour it on people, you can never break the vicious cycle. Problems can only be solved when you go to God with them
David prayed with abusive language to God, but he treated him with goodness in front of Saul, the enemy.
'Touch not the Lord's anointed', 'Only the hem of his robe is cut' This is not hypocrisy, it is God's method
ex3> I have a daughter. I get a lot of compliments. A polite and mature child. laughing briskly.
At home, they rebel and slam the door, yes. 'Why at home?' I asked, 'Because it's home!' That's it. In addition to one word, 'It happened at home, so if you go out and do it, it will be helpful for your father's ministry!!' You're thinking about church while you're struggling in puberty.. I thought I'd matured.
1 Samuel 1:10 Hannah was troubled and prayed to the LORD and wept.
ex4> If you eat spoiled cutlassfish, you will not vomit. All the good and the bad are pouring out, but when you vomit, you feel cool. It is refreshing because God heals you after you tell him everything. Hannah was also hurt because of Peninnah, but Peninnah also suffered from not being loved by her husband, but Hannah was the only one who had a problem and went out to God.
Like Psalm 109, David must go to God even when he pours out curses. It means that the vicious cycle of individuals, families, and people will be cut off when we break away from the image of a child and sublimate it into a life of prayer. I pray that the blessing of becoming a mature Christian in faith by breaking the vicious circle and coming to God with the problem will come.
2. The second characteristic of young children is that they do not work with conflicts and problems as an excuse.
1 Corinthians 3:8-9 The one who plants and the one who waters are one, but each will receive his own reward according to his work. We are God's co-workers; you are God's field and God's house.
The Corinthians did not work, saying that they were Paulites and Apollosians. It means that no matter what conflicts there are, they continue to work. That is God's co-worker
Let's see the first temptation of the devil in Matthew 4
The devil told us to make bread out of stones and eat it. But he didn't. This is because rice cakes are made from wheat flour. If you made bread with stones, you are no longer human. If Jesus gave up becoming a human being, he would no longer need to be on this earth. We must continue to work in the field despite all kinds of contradictions and conflicts.
The second test is that all nations will be given to you if you bow down. The content is this. is to have the power
Are there any examples of historically successful churches with power? Recapture of the Holy Land of Jerusalem, Islamic invasion of the Crusades, British occupation of the East India Company
What helped the evangelization, such as Indonesia, which the Netherlands ruled for 400 years? The gospel was preached most powerfully when the church was most persecuted and weak.
These days, listen to the story of the church. They say they can't work because they don't have the strength, they don't have money, and they don't have workers.
Did the early church have power? Did you have money, did you have programs, did you have buildings? It was achieved when we believed in God and continued to work. This is the power of the church. What is the bible talking about? Even under no circumstances, those who depend on the Holy Spirit of God can keep running. The modern church has become too strong. I'm just trying to deal with money rather than obedience
The good thing about Samil Church in the early days was because there was no money. that he worked with dedication
Some large churches have 120 people who pay only for music. Music can be overwhelming. but will it be a blessing
On the contrary, even if it is not enough, wouldn't it be more used to praise like a child's confession? In the Bible, the hidden method and motive in purpose are more important. What is the devil's false message? It is said that if you bow down, you will do it without any method or motive.
Gal 6:9 Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
According to the book 'Continue Mode' by Etsuo Ohashi, the gift of those who fail is frustration. Successful people do not give up and keep running. Also, it is consistent with the characteristics of morning-type people and the characteristics of successful CEOs, such as those who pray at dawn. Where was the power of the early church? I continued to do the good things God gave me. If it is in accordance with God's will, it is to hold on to it. In the early church, when the rulers stopped preaching the gospel, Peter talks
Acts 4:20 We cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard... It means that we went out in mode.
Acts 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.
The early church had four powers.
??being taught ??fellowship ??breaking bread ??only praying and continuing this
ex> Vietnam War. when taken prisoner. Life changed completely after being released from captivity
A person who only learned guitar from a guitarist in a prison cell, who is fluent in 4 languages
Even in prison, those who lived in continuation mode were victorious.
If you say that it is good with the power and grace that God has given us, go ahead in the continuous mode without interruption. That is the image of a mature Christian. you will reap the fruit
* Prayer
Help me to become a person of prayer that breaks the vicious cycle
Help me to become a mature Christian who can work in a continual mode by the power of the Holy Spirit, not as someone who stops with excuses.
